ースが粒状パーライト組織からなり、リングギヤ部がオ
ーステンパー処理したベイナイト組織からなるディファ

(考案が解決しようとする課題) 従来のディファレンシャルケース構造は、球状黒鉛鋳鉄
の化学組成を種々改良すると共に、製法にも改良を加え
ることによって優れた疲労強度、耐面圧強度、耐摩耗性
を有するリングギヤと、加工性に優れ、熱変形がなく強
度のあるディファレンシャルケースとを一体鋳造したも
のであり、リングギヤとディファレンシャルケースとを
一体加工できるので、加工精度が向上し、さらにリング
ギヤ部のみを局部焼入れした構造であるため熱処理変形
が極小化できるので、歯当り精度が向上し、差動装置の
ノイズが減少するという効果も発生するが、満足できる
ものではなかった。そこで、本考案はディファレンシャ
ルケース構造の改善によって差動装置のノイズ低減を図
