PURPOSE:To fit a suspension bolt to a cross member formed of extruded material. CONSTITUTION:A block 13 of closed cross-sectional structure formed of extruded material is fitted to the end part opening 10 of a cross member of closed cross- sectional structure formed of extruded material. The block 13 is formed of a block part 14 and a plate part 15, and a suspension bolt 11 is fitted piercing the upper wall 14a and lower wall 14b of the block part 14 and a collar 17. The head part 11A of the suspension bolt 11 is fixed by a whirl-stop member 19 fitted to the upper wall 14a of the block 14. The block part 14 of the block 13 is inserted into the opening 10 of the cross member 8, and in the state of the suspension bolt 11 being received into the cutout part 12 of the lower wall 8b of the cross member 8, the opening 10 is closed by the plate part 15 to fix the block 13 to the cross member 8.

造を採用することができない。例えば、電気自動車のよ
うにバッテリの重量を支えるために軽量で高剛性の車体
が必要となる場合にアルミの押し出し材から成るクロス
メンバ1の採用が考えられているが、このような閉断面
構造のクロスメンバ1では、そのままでは上部レインフ
ォース5及び下部レインフォース4を挿入することはで
きず、したがってサスペンションボルト2をクロスメン
バ1内に落とし込む構造とすることができないのであ
る。
