There are cases. In such a case, conventionally, the special page is prepared by printing and folding it separately from the ordinary page, and it is overlapped with the part constituting the ordinary page, and sent to the process of wire binding or gluing. There was nothing else. Adopting such a process naturally goes against the requirement of shortening the time required for printing and binding and keeping the cost low.

示すとおりである。As shown in the drawings, the booklet of the present invention folds a sheet 1 along two vertical folding lines 3 and 3 (4) so that the three pieces of paper divided by these vertical folding lines overlap each other. It is characterized in that it is folded and folded along the horizontal folding line 6 from the center, further folded along the vertical folding line 7 from the center, and the vicinity of the horizontal folding line 6 is cut off. . This booklet is divided into two modes depending on whether the overlapping of three pieces of paper, which is generated by folding along two vertical folding lines, is wrapped in a tongue shape or a Z shape. In the first mode, that is, one side of one wide paper strip 11 is folded along the vertical folding lines 3 and 4, and the narrow paper strips 12 and 13 produced thereby are wrapped in a tongue-like shape, and along the center horizontal folding line 6. When the folding and the subsequent folding along the central vertical folding line 7 are performed, the results are as shown in FIGS. 1, I, II, III and IV. The second mode, that is, one side of one wide paper strip 11 is folded along the vertical folding lines 3 and 4, and the narrow paper strips 12 and 13 produced thereby are folded in a Z shape to form a horizontal folding line 6 at the center. When the bending along the vertical folding line 7 in the center and the subsequent bending along the vertical folding line 7 are performed, the results are as shown in FIGS. 3, I, II, III and IV.

This is a four-story building, two of which have a tongue-shaped fold back. On the other hand, if the folding shown in FIG. 3 is cut out, the booklet 10D shown in FIG. 4 can be obtained. It consists of four sheets, two of which have Z-shaped folds.

This is particularly significant when printing a large number of copies, using high-speed printing technology such as gravure rotary printing, and connecting it to a continuous cutting paper folding machine to fold it manually or in another process. Since it can be performed without processing, the time required for the printing method is shortened and the cost is reduced. This booklet can be made into a newspaper type by cutting the lower edge and trimming other edges as necessary, and it can be bound into a pamphlet by wire binding the center and pasting it with glue. Needless to say, you can also stack many booklets together to make a thick book. Therefore, the present invention has wide applicability.
