Horses in general, and racehorses in particular, wear horseshoes for the purpose of protecting the hoofs, etc. This horseshoes takes about 20 to 30 days, and due to the degree of decrease and the looseness of the hoofs and horseshoes, It is common to replace it. Horseshoes are made of materials such as soft iron and aluminum, and their planar shape is almost U-shaped. The tip of the U-shape is a projection for determining the tip position of the hoof when hitting a horseshoe, a so-called iron lip 1 cm. The degree of protrusion is provided. In recent years, in the case of racehorses, 1 due to races and sprints during training
A cushion material is provided between the hoof and the horseshoe because it is subjected to a very heavy load on the hoof of the book. This cushion material is made of a synthetic resin material such as urethane rubber, and is cut into various shapes according to the shape, characteristics and habit of each horse's hoof and attached. This was done by driving a horseshoe nail through the hole in the bottom of the horseshoe toward the hoof, fixing the hoof, the cushioning material, and the horseshoe.

The horse walks and walks while twisting the hoof for a moment when kicking the ground after landing. In addition, when the hoof is lowered, the bottom of the hoof opens for a moment and closes when the hoof is lifted, which is generally called hoof movement. In particular, a racehorse has a problem that it is easy to slip or loosen from the hoof even if the horseshoe and the cushioning material are fastened with a horseshoe nail because of the twisting during walking and running and the hoofing motion. In particular, if there is a cushioning material between the hoof and the horseshoe, there is a problem that the nail is easily loosened even if it is hit with the nail, and the cushioning material is easily displaced from the horseshoe to the outside. In addition, if the adhesive surface of urethane rubber or the like of the cushion material is baked and adhered in an attempt to improve the adhesiveness, the adhesiveness is improved, but the urethane rubber is softened and tends to become messy, which adversely affects the hoof. There was a problem. Furthermore, a high frame like an iron lip is provided on the outer circumference of the horseshoe,
It is known that the cushion material is covered and protected, but if the outer surface of the hoof and the upper surface are covered with the same material as the horseshoe, this part may hit other hoof parts,
I could hurt my hoof and legs. An object of the present invention is to obtain a horseshoe capable of preventing the horseshoe and the cushioning material from being separated from the hoof with a simple structure and protecting the hoof.

In order to achieve this object, the present invention is a horseshoe in which a cushion material is provided on the upper surface of the horseshoe, and a cushion material stopper projection that is lower than the thickness of the cushion material and whose upper end surface is covered by the cushion material is provided outside the horseshoe. It is a horseshoe that is provided on the peripheral edge and fixes the cushion material to the upper surface of the horseshoe with an adhesive.

A cushion material stop protrusion is provided on the outer peripheral edge of the horseshoe on the front outer periphery or at an appropriate portion, and the upper end surface of the cushion material stop protrusion is covered with the cushion material, so that the hoof cushions even when it is exposed by hoofing movement. Since the cushioning material is not adhered to the material stopping protrusion and is adhered to the upper surface of the horseshoe and is supported by hitting the cushioning material stopping protrusion, the cushioning material does not move further outward.

FIG. 1 is a plan view of an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view when a cushion material is adhered to a horseshoe, and FIG. 2 is a cross section taken along line AA of FIG. 2 when a hoof is placed. A description will be given with reference to FIG. 4 showing the front of a horseshoe when a hoof is placed thereon, and FIG. 5 showing the plane of another embodiment. Horseshoe 1 is made of soft iron, aluminum, etc.
A U-shaped tip portion is provided with an iron lip 5 protruding upward. The iron lip 5 projects upward by about 1 cm and has a tongue-shaped body with a width of about 1.5 cm and a curved upper end. The side 2 is the bottom surface of the horseshoe 1, and the side 3 is the upper surface of the horseshoe 1. The cushion material stopper protrusion 4 is provided on the outer peripheral edge side of the horseshoe 1
Is protruded to the upper surface 3 side with an appropriate length. Two cushion material stopping protrusions 4 may be provided on the outer peripheral edge portion of the horseshoe 1 as shown in FIG. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, it may be provided on the entire outer periphery except the iron lip 5. The thickness of the cushion material stopping protrusion 4 is about 1 to 4 mm. The installation position of the cushion material stop protrusion 4 is determined in consideration of the shape, characteristics, walking, running habits, etc. of the hoof 6 of each racehorse, so that the installation position is limited if it is on the outer peripheral side of the horseshoe 1. do not do. The cushion material stop protrusion 4 is 1 to 4 mm from the upper surface of the horseshoe 1.
Position, preferably about 2 mm in height. Reference numeral 7 denotes a cushion material, which is formed of a material having a certain degree of hardness and elasticity such as urethane rubber (polyurethane) and is interposed between the hoof 6 and the horseshoe 1. The thickness of the cushion material 7 and the distribution of the thickness vary depending on the shape and characteristics of the hoof 6 of each racehorse and the habit of walking and running, but the thickness of the outer circumference is at least the height of the cushion material stopping protrusion 4. That is, it is better to be thicker than about 2 mm to 5 mm,
As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the cushion material stopper projection 4 is configured to cover the upper end surface thereof. When the horseshoe 1 is attached to the hoof 6, the installation position of the cushion material stopping protrusion 4 is most suitable in consideration of the walking, running habit, shape of the hoof 6, and characteristics of the horse to be attached. Choose what you think is. Further, in accordance with the number and shape of the cushion material stopping projections 4 of the horseshoe 1, the portion of the cushion material 7 that fits with the cushion material stopping projections 4 is cut into a concave shape to match the upper surface of the horseshoe 1. Such a cushion material 7 is bonded to the upper surface of the horseshoe 1 with an adhesive. The hoof 6 rests on the upper surface of the cushion material 7, and the horseshoe 1
Insert a horseshoe nail (not shown) from the bottom side 2 of the horseshoe 1,
The cushion material 7 is fixed to the hoof 6. The cushion material 7 fixed in this manner is prevented from further spreading by the cushion material stop projections 4 on the outer peripheral edge of the horseshoe 1 even when the horse is running, twisting by walking, or hoofing movement, and the horseshoe 1 Prevent from slipping away.

Therefore, according to this invention, the horseshoe and the cushion material and the hoof can be attached more easily, and in particular, the cushion material can be attached for a long period of time without being dislocated from the hoof and the horseshoe. Therefore, horseshoes and cushioning materials can be used for a long period of time, and there is an effect that the economical value is great. In addition, since there is almost no deviation of the cushion material whose shape is determined according to the habit and individuality of each horse, there is an effect that it is very good for correcting the limbs of the horse.
