By the way, the suction opening is formed in a suction grill which is a separate component from the unit main body, and the suction grill is pivotally supported by a grill support provided in the unit main body. Also, a filter is detachably attached to the suction grill to remove dust contained in the suction air.

The suction grille is made of a synthetic resin material and is processed and molded by means such as injection molding. The structure is composed of horizontal rails arranged side by side with a relatively small spacing, and vertical rails provided in a direction orthogonal to these horizontal rails and having a large mutual spacing.

[0006] A suction grill usually has an extremely large ratio between the lateral and longitudinal dimensions. When the area of the grill is large, a reinforcing material is attached if necessary, but the crosspiece in the longitudinal direction is still easily deformed at the time of molding, and after completion, warping was forced by using a jig. Therefore, it is troublesome and troublesome work is required.

There is also a problem with the structure in which the suction grill is pivotally supported on the grill support provided on the unit body. That is, the grill support is located on either the left or right side of the suction grill pivot support, depending on the mounting position. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare two types of grill supporting tools having symmetrical pivotal support parts and select and arrange them. After all, it requires time and effort for production, and attention must be paid to mounting on the unit body.

Conventionally, a sheet-shaped flocked body is attached along the peripheral surface of the blowout port to prevent dew condensation. As for the attachment means, one side of the double-faced tape is attached to the back side of the flocked body, and this is attached to the peripheral surface of the blowout port, so that a troublesome work is required here as well. Also, when the water-collecting effect of the flocked body decreases due to changes over time. It is necessary to replace the flocked body, but when it is attached with double-sided tape, it cannot be easily peeled off and the replacement work becomes troublesome, and if it is not removed properly, the attachment reliability of the new flocked body will decrease. It will be.

Particularly, the vertical bar 37a at the center and the reinforcing members 38 on both sides guide the pair of filters 11, 11 to attach them to the grill G. As shown in FIG. 4A, in particular, the vertical bar 37 a at the central portion extends inward from the edge of the horizontal bar 36. As shown in FIG. 3B, the reinforcing members 38, 38 attached to both side portions of the grill G project inward by substantially the same size as the central vertical rail 37a. Therefore, when mounting the pair of filters 11, 11 on the suction grill G,
The reinforcing members 38, 38 and the central vertical rail 37a form a guide. In particular, it is not necessary to attach a separate member that serves as a guideline for the filter 11, and this attachment position can be easily set.

During the cooling operation, the opening of the electric expansion valve 46a on the liquid side line of the opposing indoor heat exchanger 13a is normally set while the air volume of the one indoor blower 14a on the zone A side is increased. Open more than opening. Therefore, the temperature difference between the heat exchanger temperature and the suction temperature of the compressor is maintained at the same superheat amount as usual, thereby preventing the dew state at the outlet 5a.

At the same time, with the air volume of the other indoor blower 14b on the zone B side reduced, the indoor heat exchanger 13
The opening degree of the electric expansion valve 46b communicating with b is closed more than the normal opening degree. Therefore, the temperature difference between the heat exchanger temperature and the suction temperature of the compressor is maintained at the same superheat value as the normal value to prevent freezing of the indoor heat exchanger 13b and maintain the cooling capacity.

During the heating operation, the indoor blower 1 on the zone A side
In order to increase the air volume of 4a, the louver is opened and the number of rotations is increased, and the opening of the electric expansion valve 46a is opened beyond the normal opening to keep the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger 13a at the normal level. Prevents the blowing of cold air.

Further, in order to reduce the air volume on the zone B side, the louver is closed, the rotation speed of the indoor blower 14b is reduced, and the opening of the electric expansion valve 46b is closed below the normal opening to reduce the heat exchanger temperature. Hold normally, which prevents the transition to a hot release.

In this way, the electric expansion valves 46 of the respective air outlets 5a and 5b are selected in accordance with the required air volume, the wind speed, and the wind direction.
By adjusting the opening degrees of a and 46b, the optimum refrigerant flow rate is always controlled, and comfortable air conditioning is achieved.

In the above-described embodiment, the description has been made by applying to a so-called top-and-bottom type air conditioner mounted on the ceiling surface.
The present invention is not limited to this, and can be applied to a wall-mounted type having two indoor heat exchangers. Further, it goes without saying that various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

As described above, according to the present invention, the reinforcing member is provided along both sides of the inside of the suction grill, and the vertical bar is extended to the inside at least at the substantially central portion. Since the filter is guided by the crosspiece, the warp deformation at the time of forming the suction grill is reliably prevented and the workability of the grill is improved, and the workability of attaching it to a predetermined part of the grill and the appearance are improved. There is an effect that can be achieved.

According to the second aspect of the invention, the suction grill is provided with a shaft hole, the shaft portions are projected on both sides of the grill support, and one of the shaft portions is selected and inserted into the shaft hole. Since the suction grill is pivotally supported with respect to the main body of the air conditioner, when supporting the suction grill to the main body, even if a plurality of support tools are arranged, the mounting work is performed by the shaft portions provided on both sides of the support tool. Therefore, it is possible to improve the efficiency and eliminate the need to provide different parts for each, and to obtain the effect of reducing the number of parts and the cost of parts.
