カルシウム等の汚れ(スケール)が付着して電気分解を
阻害する要因となる。このため従来は逆電洗浄法と称し
て陰陽極板間に逆極性の電圧を印加して上記水酸化カル
シウム等を電気的に溶出させる方法がとられていた。
