2. Description of the Related Art There is known a recording apparatus that sublimates (thermally sublimates) to perform color recording at a desired position on a recording paper according to characters and image information. The transfer paper is one in which color inks of each color such as yellow, magenta, cyan, black, etc. are sequentially applied in a longitudinal direction in the form of a danda, and the thermal head is pressed against the recording paper via this transfer paper to By reciprocating, the color ink applied to the transfer paper is sequentially transferred. When cut sheets are used in such a recording apparatus, a recording sheet feeding mechanism is required. However, in the FRR type paper feed mechanism as described above, the paper feed roller 51
Since the A and 51B and the reverse roller 54 are required, and a recording paper retreat for reciprocating the recording paper during the recording operation is required, the recording apparatus becomes large and the cost increases. turn into.

Therefore, as a separation mechanism having a simpler structure than that of the FRR system, a separation mechanism 60 provided with a separation claw 61 as shown in FIG. 7 is known. In the figure, by rotating the paper feed roller 63, which is in pressure contact with the recording paper 64, in the forward direction (arrow 63A in the figure), the uppermost recording paper 64 stacked advances in the direction of arrow 65 in the figure. I will try. However, the separation claws 61 provided at both ends in front of the recording paper tray 62 prevent the progress thereof. As a result, the recording paper 64 is bent between the separation claw 61 and the paper feed roller 63.
In this state, the paper feed roller 63 continues to rotate,
Due to the elastic force of the recording paper 64, the leading end of the recording paper 64 will eventually come off the separating claw 61. In this way, the recording paper 6
4 can be separated one by one. Since this method has a simple structure and is inexpensive, it is widely used in recording paper trays such as copying machines and printers.

By the way, in the sheet feeding structure by the separating claw system as described above, when the cut recording paper is attached to and detached from the recording paper tray, the separating claws obstruct the corners of the cut recording paper. Trouble that breaks occurs. It is important for a recording device that uses cut chart paper to feed the chart paper securely, but if the corners of the cut chart paper are broken in this way, there is a problem that the paper cannot be fed reliably. To do. Particularly, in a recording apparatus in which recording is performed by reciprocally moving the recording sheet as described above, the registration accuracy of recording deteriorates unless the sheet is reliably fed. Therefore, a structure may be adopted in which the separation claw is retracted when the recording paper is attached to or detached from the recording paper tray, but that structure poses a problem. That is, if the retracting structure of the separating mechanism is manually operated,
Although it is possible to reduce the number of parts, it is troublesome for the user because it is necessary to operate each time the recording paper is attached to or detached from the recording paper tray. Further, if the automation is performed, the number of parts increases, which causes an increase in the cost of the recording apparatus.

Next, when a paper feed operation for feeding the cut recording paper 2A is performed, the state shown in FIG. 4 is obtained. As shown in the figure, the paper feed lever 22 is rotated upward by a drive mechanism (not shown) to raise the bottom plate 3 of the recording paper storage unit 2. This rise of the bottom plate 3 is caused by the cut recording paper 2A loaded.
Is performed until the uppermost part of the sheet comes into contact with the sheet feeding / discharging roller 24. Further, as the bottom plate 3 rises, the uppermost cut recording paper 2A pushes up the separation pins 8R and L of the separation mechanism 30. As shown in the figure, when the uppermost portion of the cut recording paper 2A is in contact with the paper feeding / discharging roller 24, the separation pin 8R,
L is located above the paper feed guide plate (conveyance path) 31. Further, the movable clamp member 20A is
The drive mechanism rotates counterclockwise about the rotation shaft 21 and stops at a predetermined position.

From the above-mentioned state, when the paper feeding / discharging roller 24 rotates counterclockwise, the recording paper 2A which is in contact with the paper feeding / discharging roller 24 is pushed toward the platen roller 13 side. Separate pin lever 7 on both sides of the tip
Since it is in contact with the tip portions of R and L, both sides are bent. When the paper feeding / discharging roller 24 is further bent due to the rotation, the separation pin 8 is caused by the elastic force of the recording paper 2A.
After deviating from R and L, the recording paper 2A is conveyed onto the paper feed guide plate 31. Here, since the separation pins 8R and L are located above the paper feed guide plate 31, when the recording paper 2A is disengaged from the separation pins 8R and L, the leading end of the recording paper 2A is reliably fed. It comes to rest on the plate 31. The uppermost cut recording paper 2A separated in this way is conveyed on the paper feed guide plate 31 by the paper supply / discharge rollers 24, passes between the platen roller 13 and the thermal head 12, and is a stopper portion of the movable clamp member 20A. Reach up to 20C. When the leading edge of the cut recording paper 2A reaches the stopper portion 20C of the movable clamp member 20A, a detection device (not shown) installed in the movable clamp member 20A detects it, and the rotation operation of the paper feed / discharge roller 24 is started. Locked and movable clamp member 20
A rotates to the clamp position to clamp the leading end of the cut recording paper 2A. When the front end of the cut recording paper 2A is clamped, the paper feed lever 22 is rotated in the opposite direction (downward) to that during the paper feed operation, and the bottom plate 3 of the recording paper storage unit 2 is lowered. When the bottom plate 3 descends to the lowermost portion, the uppermost cut recording paper 2A separates from the separating pins 8R and 8L of the separating mechanism 30,
Similarly, the separation pin lever 7 in the downwardly regulated position
The upper portions of R and L are located below the paper feed guide plate 31 of the recording paper 2A. Further, as the bottom plate 3 is lowered, the stacked recording paper 2A is also lowered, so that the paper feeding / discharging roller 24 and the recording paper 2A are separated from each other, and the paper feeding / discharging roller 24 and the recording paper 2A are kept until the next paper feeding operation. It is always separated from the recording paper 2A.
