ブを磁性材で抑えることによって確実な絶縁性を確保す
る構造としたものであるため、効果として、安全規格で
要求される絶縁を満足しながら、中鍔の肉厚寸法及び右
鍔の肉厚寸法を小さくすることができ磁性材窓面積内に
おけるコイル巻線面積の向上を図ることができる。その
ため太い線径の銅線の使用が可能となり効率、電圧変動
率、容量等電気性能の向上、さらにはユーザの要求性能
に対して設計自由度が大幅に向上することになる。又品
質面においても断線不良が低下する等大きなメリットが
ある。

その片方鍔から中鍔にわたってコの字状でかつ上記鍔の
切欠きにはまり込むプラスチック成形品よりなる1対の
絶縁カバーをケースに一体化し、上記絶縁カバーが磁性
材の外足に接する面に複数本の凸状リブを設け、そのケ
ースの絶縁カバーをボビンの片方鍔、中鍔にはめ込んで
トランス本体をケースに収納してなるトランス。
