塗布ガンにおいて、前記ポンプは可動部材を具える以
上、作業終了後においては、該ポンプを含む塗剤流路を
確実に洗浄することが必要となった。そのため、本発明
者らは、ガン本体に予め洗浄液流路を形成し、該洗浄液
流路を流れる洗浄液を塗剤流路に送り込むことを創出し
た。このような洗浄液の送出は、ポンプ駆動用の前記回
転機を作動源として用いるものであり、従って洗浄のた
めには、塗剤流路に取付く塗剤開閉弁を閉止しつつ回転
機のみを動作させることが必要となる。なお誤って塗剤
