2. Description of the Related Art Hammertone paint has been conventionally used as one of the coating methods for finishing the surface of an object to be coated into an uneven pattern. It is called a hammer tone paint because it forms a uniform pattern like a metal hammer (hammer) hitting the surface of a metal. Hammertone finishing has the advantage that the finished pattern is relatively beautiful and that it is possible to achieve a coating finish that is excellent in adhesion to the substrate, hardness, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, etc. in terms of its coating film performance as well. have. Hammertone paints are used for relatively small items such as sewing machines, air conditioners, stoves, and audio equipment, as well as shutters, outer wall materials, and pre-coated metal. Conventionally, as a hammertone paint, an appropriate amount of silicone oil has been added to the paint, and when the paint is applied to the surface of an object to be coated, a hammertone pattern appears due to the action of the silicone oil after a few minutes,
It is known that a paint that completes a hammer tone finish when dried as it is.

However, in the conventional hammertone paint to which the above-mentioned silicone oil is added, the particles of the paint adhere to the surface of the object to be coated with another kind of paint, or the paint. When mixed with other types of paint, there is a high risk of causing a coating failure phenomenon such as cissing or dents on the coated surface of the other type of paint. Therefore, the conventional hammertone paint manufacturing environment and painting environment require a troublesome measure such as isolation from other work departments, which is a serious problem. In addition, if another surface is coated with the conventional hammertone paint, there is a drawback that a similar coating failure phenomenon as described above occurs due to the influence of silicone oil.
The present invention, in view of the above situation, without using silicone oil such as conventional hammertone paint, and adhesion with the substrate, hardness, abrasion resistance, coating performance such as scratch resistance and the like. The purpose is to provide a hammer tone paint with an excellent finish.

According to the present invention, the component (A) has a hydroxyl value of 25 to 80 mgKOH / g and a weight average molecular weight of 200.
Component (C) with respect to the resin solid component consisting of 50 to 90% by weight of a polyester resin having a hydroxyl group of 0 to 15000 and an acid value of 1 to 12 and 50 to 10% by weight of the component (B) melamine resin. Provided is a hammertone paint based on a mixture containing 0.1 to 8.0% by weight of a vinyl polymer defoaming agent. The component (A) hydroxyl group-containing polyester resin used in the present invention is a known oil-free type polyester resin having a hydroxyl value of 25 to 80 mg.
KOH / g, a weight average molecular weight of 2,000 to 15,000 and an acid value of 1 to 12, preferably 2 to 10 are used. As such polyester resin, Beckolite M-6402-50 [manufactured by Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Inc., trade name], Byron GK13CS [manufactured by Toyobo Co., Ltd., trade name] and the like can be used. As the melamine resin of the component (B) used in the present invention, a low temperature at the time of baking,
Any material that can be cured with the above polyester resin in a short period of time may be used, and a melamine resin used in a usual heat-drying type coating material can be used. For example, methylated melamine resin,
Butylated melamine resin, mixed alkylated melamine resin and the like can be used. The mixing ratio of the components (A) and (B) is 50 to 90% by weight with respect to the latter 50 to 90% by weight.
It is 10% by weight. If the content of the former is less than 50% by weight, the moldability of the coating film will decrease, and if it exceeds 90% by weight, the hardness of the coating film will decrease, so both are not preferable. The component (C), a vinyl-based polymer defoaming agent used for forming a hammertone pattern in the present invention, can be obtained by polymerizing a vinyl monomer. Those which have a low compatibility with (A) and (B) and which are originally commercially available as an antifoaming agent are commercially available as, for example, Disparlon # 19.

When a suitable amount of the component (C) is dispersed and coexisted in the coating material as fine particles, the fine particles of the component (C) act on the surface of the coating film immediately after coating the coating material to form a hammer tone pattern. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a finished texture similar to that of the conventional hammertone paint containing silicone oil. The blending amount of the component (C) is the same as the components (A) and (B).
It is 0.1 to 8.0% by weight based on the total resin solid content.
If the blending amount is less than 0.1% by weight, a hammertone pattern is not formed, and if it exceeds 8.0% by weight, the hammertone pattern is not clear and the image becomes blurry. In the hammertone paint of the present invention,
In addition to the components (A), (B) and (C) as described above, pigments, dyes, solvents, additives and the like generally used for paints can be added, if necessary. As the pigment, a coloring pigment, an extender pigment or the like can be used, and for example, aluminum paste, pearl, titanium oxide, carbon black, red iron oxide, silica, mica, calcium carbonate or the like can be used. The amount of the pigment blended is not particularly limited, but it needs to be determined in consideration of viscosity, coating workability and the like. Examples of the additive include a pigment dispersant and an anti-scratch agent. Above all, it is effective to add a fluororesin powder such as polytetrafluoroethylene resin powder having a melting point of 300 ° C. or higher in the coating material in an amount of 4% by weight or less as a scratch preventing agent. As the fluororesin powder, in addition to the above polytetrafluoroethylene, fluororesin powders such as polychlorotrifluoroethylene, tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer, and polyvinylidene fluoride can be used. Even if the blending amount of the fluororesin powder is 4% by weight or more, a scratch preventing effect commensurate with the blending cannot be obtained. Such a scratch-resistant fluororesin powder is commercially available, for example, from Foster Freon TF.
-9205 [trade name of Hoechst Japan KK] and the like can be preferably used. As a method for preparing the hammertone paint of the present invention, a usual method for producing a paint can be applied, and one example of the preparation method will be described below, but the present invention is not limited thereto. First, a polyester resin, a melamine resin, a solvent and a pigment are mixed, and the pigment particles are dispersed to 20 μm or less by a sand mill, an attritor, a roller mill or the like (when the pigment is only aluminum paste or pearl, it is sufficient to stir with a disper). Then, the vinyl polymer defoaming agent of the component (C) is mixed and sufficiently dispersed, and subsequently, an aluminum paste and an additive are added, and the mixture is stirred and mixed with a disper to prepare. As a coating method, spray coating, electrostatic coating, roller coating and the like are possible.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION Since the hammertone paint according to the present invention does not contain silicone oil in the paint, adverse effects on other paints and paint defects such as cissing and dents do not occur, and the paint manufacturing environment and paint environment Also, in the case of (1), it is not necessary to separate it from other paints, and thus the special measures required in the conventional hammertone paints are not necessary. It also has excellent coating performance such as adhesion to the substrate, hardness, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, etc., and shows performance equivalent to or better than conventional hammertone paints. Further, by adjusting the blending amount of the vinyl polymer defoaming agent as the component (C), it is possible to obtain a design property different from the concavo-convex pattern of the conventional hammertone paint.
