検出器5,6に検出突起4が当接して、この検出器5,
6の作動による検出信号で機体7側は給紙カセツトCの
種別、即ち用紙サイズを認識するのである。

動片とを有し且つ前記縦摺動片に大きさの異なる複数の
検出用貫通孔が設けられた縦ガイドと、前記用紙を前記
横巾方向から規制して位置決めする突当片と前記縦摺動
片に交差して設けられ且つ該突当片の移動に対応して前
記横巾方向に摺動自在に案内される横摺動片とを有し且
つ前記横摺動片に前記検出用貫通孔の何れも包合し得る
大きさを有した少なくとも1つの検出用貫通孔が設けら
れた横ガイドと、前記用紙の種類に応じて移動する前記
縦ガイド及び横ガイド各々の突当片に対応して案内され
た前記縦摺動片及び前記横摺動片各々の検出用貫通孔同
士が重なる部分の大きさを検出する検出手段とを含む構
成となされている。

して前記横巾方向に摺動自在に案内される横摺動片とを
有し且つ前記横摺動片に前記検出用貫通孔の何れも包合
し得る大きさを有した少なくとも1つの検出用貫通孔が
設けられた横ガイドと、前記用紙の種類に応じて移動す
る前記縦ガイド及び横ガイド各々の突当片に対応して案
内された前記縦摺動片及び前記横摺動片各々の検出用貫
通孔同士が重なる部分の大きさを検出する検出手段とを
含むことを特徴とする給紙カセット構造。
