In this way, the ridges 6 of the connecting fitting cover 5 are inserted into the gap g between the slant rods 12 and 22 of the front leg 1 and the rear leg 2 of the folding chair 100 to be stacked thereon, and a large number of them are inserted. Even when the folding chairs 100 are stacked, since the folding chairs 100 are prohibited from moving in the left-right direction at the position of the coupling fitting cover 5, stacking does not easily collapse in the left-right direction. The backrests 8 are in contact with each other with respect to the movement in the front-rear direction, so that the movement is prohibited, but in order to make this more reliable, the surface 5a on which the projection 6 of the coupling fitting cover 5 is provided. In addition, an engaging recess that engages with one end 41 a of the connecting fitting 41 of the folding chair 100 to be stacked on top or with the one end 41 a and the shaft fitting 42 may be provided. That is, in such an engaging recess, one end 41a to be engaged is positioned in parallel with the central axis of the tilting rod 22, so that both sides of this one end 41a are connected to the central axis of the tilting rod 22. Any shape may be used as long as it is formed in a shape that engages so as to hold in the direction. In this way, if the left and right movements in the front and rear are prohibited at the position of the connecting metal cover 5, they will not be collapsed even if a large number of them are stacked, the storage space can be saved, and the safety when stacked and stored. Can be improved.
