2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when a foamed molded product such as a polyurethane foam is manufactured, a mold release agent may be previously applied to the inner surface of the mold in order to facilitate the demolding of the molded product from the mold. It is generally done. As a release agent that has been widely used from the past, an organic solvent, for example, a so-called solvent-type release agent in which a wax or silicone oil or a fluorine compound is mixed with a petroleum solvent or a CFC solvent is used. ing. However, in the case of a solvent type release agent, workability is deteriorated due to the odor caused by the solvent, and it is regarded as a problem in that it adversely affects the environment and the human body.
The development of water-based water-based mold release agents is desired. For example, JP-B-53-23270 and JP-A-61-2
Japanese Patent No. 2912 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 04-185310 have been proposed.

The mold release agent is generally used by applying it to the inner surface of the mold using a spray gun. At that time, since the mold temperature during foam molding of polyurethane foam or the like is usually relatively low (around 50 ° C.), the water-based water-based mold release agent requires a long time for drying. And to speed up the drying,
Compared with the case of solvent type release agent, the amount of discharge is greatly reduced and spray coating is performed. For this reason, the coating work of the product shape inside the mold (commonly called cavity) can be performed successfully even if the discharge amount is reduced, but vent holes (preventing gas from accumulating inside the mold and causing foaming of the foam body to occur). Pore diameter of about 1 mm
A small amount of small holes that communicate with the inside and outside of the mold) are blind spots, so the required amount cannot be applied. In other words, when molding is performed with insufficient coating inside the vent hole, the mold release is poor and a part of the foam cuts into the vent hole and becomes clogged. For this reason, the work of removing the clogging must be carried out each time the mold is released, and there is a problem that workability and productivity are significantly impaired. On the contrary, if the discharge amount is increased or the release agent is aimed at so as to reach the vent holes, it takes more time than necessary for drying, and productivity is reduced. Alternatively, there arises a problem that a liquid pool is generated in a portion where a large amount of a release agent is applied, which causes a problem such as cell roughness or a spot pattern on the surface of the molded product. The invention disclosed in the above-mentioned patent publication does not solve these problems.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In a water-based mold release agent, as a method having good drying properties and enabling application of a required amount, it is simply conceived to use an organic solvent in combination. However, since the solvent odor is usually strong in proportion to the amount of the organic solvent added, it has been considered difficult to prescribe a formulation that has a small solvent odor while ensuring the desired drying property and that has little effect on the environment or the human body. . In this regard, as a result of earnest research, it was found that a desired drying property can be obtained without a sense of discomfort with an odor in a limited combination of solvents, and the present invention has been completed.

The alcohol referred to in the present invention is an alcohol having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and 2-propanol is particularly preferable. When the number of carbon atoms is 4 or more, the drying speed is slow and desired drying properties and coating workability cannot be obtained. The content of alcohol is preferably 5 to 20% by weight based on the water-based mold releasing composition for foam molding.

The hydrocarbon solvent having a boiling point of 50 to 150 ° C. in the present invention is, for example, n-hexane, n-heptane,
Examples include single compounds such as n-octane, isooctane, and cyclohexane, and mixtures such as benzine and rubber volatile oil. Moreover, you may use these, mixing them. It is desirable not to use an aromatic solvent or to use a solvent containing as little content as possible due to odor and effects on the human body. The content of the hydrocarbon solvent is preferably 5 to 20% by weight based on the water-based mold releasing composition for foam molding.

Further, the total content of the alcohol and the hydrocarbon solvent referred to in the present invention required to secure the desired coating workability is 20 to 35% by weight in the water-based release agent composition of the present invention. preferable. If it is less than 20% by weight, it is insufficient to secure the desired coating workability, and if the solvent exceeds 35% by weight, the odor becomes strong and the workability becomes poor.

When the solvent is blended with the water-based release agent, the alcohol of the present invention is soluble in water and may be added as it is. However, the hydrocarbon solvent of the present invention is insoluble in water.
If necessary, a surfactant is used to form an emulsion and blended.
When adjusting the water-based mold release composition for foam molding of the present invention,
The procedure of blending each component and emulsifying may be performed in any order. For example, alcohol or an emulsified hydrocarbon-based solvent may be added to the water-based release agent to obtain the water-based release agent composition of the present invention, or alcohol or a release agent component to be blended into the hydrocarbon-based solvent emulsion. Each emulsion of (wax, silicone oil, and fluorine compound) may be added.
