Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an amount of blowing air to be efficiently increased in an air conditioner having a double-axis type fan motor in which an indoor device and an outdoor device are integrally assembled to each other. CONSTITUTION:An axial line of a double-axis type fan motor 3 is inclined by about 3 deg. to 30 deg. from a longitudinal line of a main body 1 of an air conditioner and this is constructed such that air blown from a sirocco fan 4 is deflected in an oblique angle and blown in a less resistance.

て内部を2分割してあり、一方の室外側の空室には圧縮
機2とファンモータ取付台10を設けている。前記ファ
ンモータ取付台10には両軸ファンモータ3が取付けら
れ、一方の軸には室外ファン(プロペラファン)7が取
付けられ、他方の軸は室内側の空室に案内され、室内フ
ァン(シロッコファン)4を取付けてある。前記室外フ
ァン7には室外熱交換器8を対応させてあり、また、室
内ファン4には室内熱交換器5を対応させている。図中
の6は室内ファンケーシング、9は室外ファンケーシン
グ、12は吹出口の真下に設けられた電源操作部であ
る。なお、前記両軸ファンモータ3の軸方向角度は、空
気調和機本体1の前後方向と平行している。

が減れば騒音も下がることが知られている。ただし、角
度を0度にすることは両軸のファンモータを使用する限
り室外側のプロペラファンの効率も考慮する必要があ
り、角度60度程度までが限界であると考えられる。
