2. Description of the Related Art In Japan, from April to November, a large number of pests such as mosquitoes infiltrate livestock sheds such as chickens, pigs and cows. When livestock animals are sucked by mosquitoes, they interfere with, for example, spawning and milk production, and hinder weight gain. Therefore, in order to exterminate harmful insects and maintain the health of livestock, the pesticides are conventionally sprayed about once a week in a livestock building. However, in a lot of livestock houses, this labor is enormous and the pesticides are used. There is concern about the impact of the fish on the human body, and also on the livestock itself.
In addition, methods such as mosquito nets and insect nets are used to physically prevent mosquitoes from entering, but considering ventilation and other factors, it is not possible to use mosquito nets or insect nets that have fine eyes. It was not possible to prevent the invasion of mosquitoes with a body length of around 1 mm such as Nukaka. In addition, in vegetable cultivation, a covering material such as a ginseng is used to suppress the occurrence of pests. However, physical repellent alone is not enough.

The present invention will be described in detail. The nonwoven fabric which is the base material of the insect-repellent coating material of the present invention is obtained by laminating and adhering split fiber webs made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin having a hydroxy group so as to cross each other.
A method for manufacturing this nonwoven fabric will be described. First, a thermoplastic synthetic resin having a hydroxy group, for example, a polyvinyl alcohol having an average degree of polymerization of 1400 or more and a saponification degree of 99% or more is formed into a film, and the film is uniaxially oriented, for example, in the longitudinal direction at about 5.5 to 6. After hot drawing to about 5 times, split processing is performed. By this split treatment, numerous crack lines are generated in the film in the stretching direction, and the film is finely divided into a flat fibrous web.

The insect-repellent coating material of the present invention has an insecticide-containing layer on its surface. Even if the size of the eyes of this dressing is larger than, for example, a size that allows mosquitoes to pass through, the mosquitoes once stop in the dressing and then penetrate into the dressing through the eyes of the dressing. , The blood-sucking ability disappears under the influence of the insecticide which is in contact with or sublimates the insecticide while stopped in this coating material.

Further, since the insect-repellent coating material of the present invention has an insecticide-containing layer on its surface, when it is used as a coating material for horticultural and agricultural products, even if the insect pests hatch within the coating material. Even if it occurs due to the above, or occurs due to infiltration, or occurs from the soil, it may be killed or its reproduction may be reduced by contact with the covering material or by the effect of the sublimed insecticide.
In addition, even small pests that can pass through the gaps of the covering material,
Since it once stops at the covering material and then penetrates into the inside of the covering material through the eyes of the covering material, it is affected by the insecticide. Therefore, when this insect-proof coating material is used, it is possible to obtain almost the same insect-proof effect as the above-mentioned insect-repellent coating, without the need for labor and spraying of the dangerous insecticide. Next, examples of the present invention will be described.

[0020] The total number of female mosquitoes in the shack and the blood-absorption rate of chickens (with a blood test of chickens and blood-absorption of mosquitoes) in the case of using the insect-proof coating material and in the control group in which the insect-proof coating material is not used It was investigated whether or not they are being bred, and the blood-bearing rate = (chicken sucked by mosquitoes / total number of chickens) x 100] and the egg-laying rate of chickens [laying rate = (number of eggs laid per day / chicken) Of the total number) × 100]. The results are shown in Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3.
As shown in Table 1, the total number of female mosquitoes in the duck was compared with the control area without the insect repellent when the insect repellent was used in May, June, and July. The total number of female mosquitoes in the house was extremely low, but there was not much difference between August and September. However, the blood-sucking rate, as shown in Table 2,
When the insect repellent coating material was used, it was consistently markedly lower from May to September than in the control group. In addition, as shown in Table 3, the egg laying rate was also consistently improved from May to September when the insect repellent coating material was used, compared to the control group. In August and September, although the total number of female mosquitoes in the stall was almost the same between the case where the insect repellent coating material was used and the control area where it was not used, the blood absorption rate decreased. Also, the reason why the egg-laying rate was improved is considered to be that the blood-feeding ability of female mosquitoes was lost due to the effect of the insecticide fixed to the covering material, and the number of female mosquitoes having no blood-feeding ability increased.

Experimental Example 2 From the end of January to the beginning of March, the following test was carried out in the cultivation of Shandong vegetables in Okinawa Prefecture. We sown 3 ridges of Shandong vegetables in the field, leaving 1 ridge as it is (hereinafter referred to as open field), 1 ridge covered with a insect repellent in a tunnel shape (hereinafter referred to as conventional coating),
The remaining one ridge was covered in a tunnel shape with the insecticide-fixed insecticidal coating material obtained by fixing the insecticide to the insecticidal coating material according to Production Example 1 (hereinafter referred to as the coating of the present invention). Tunnels with each dressing were made at the same time as seeding for rigorous comparison. 1
Observed every week. After 4 weeks, it was confirmed that the insect pest, Plutella xylostella, invaded through the voids of each coating material. After 5 weeks, the conventional coating showed food damage, which was not so different from the open field, but the present coating did not show food damage. At 6 weeks after harvesting, the coating of the present invention also showed some feeding damage, but it was much less than the open coating and the conventional coating.
From this, it was confirmed that the covering material to which the insecticide was fixed had an excellent insect-proof effect.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY In the insect proof coating material of the present invention, a pesticide-containing polyvinyl alcohol is provided on the surface of a nonwoven fabric obtained by laminating and adhering split fiber webs made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin having a hydroxy group so as to cross each other. However, the nonwoven fabric is excellent in durability and is inexpensive because it can be obtained by a simple method of laminating and adhering split fiber webs in a crosswise and crosswise manner. Further, since the pesticide-containing polyvinyl alcohol layer is provided on the surface thereof, this has a long-lasting insect repellent effect in combination with the characteristics of the nonwoven fabric.
Further, the insecticide-fixing solution of the present invention is prepared by blending an insecticide in an aqueous polyvinyl alcohol solution having an average degree of polymerization of 1700 or more and a saponification degree of 99% or more, and thus can be easily prepared, and an organic solvent. It is easy to use because it is not used. Then, when the insect repellent coating material has a poor insect repellent effect, the insecticide fixing liquid can be attached to easily reinforce the repellent effect.
