Abstract

PURPOSE:To narrow the diameter of a shielded cable to reduce weight, and to improve the heat resistance and the radiation resistance thereof remarkably by forming a layer, which works as both of a shield and a jacket of a cable, of aluminum/polyimide tape obtained by laminating a polyimide layer on an aluminum layer. CONSTITUTION:The periphery of an insulating body (high polymer insulating layer: fluororesin) provided on a conductor 1 as a core of an insulator wire is coated with a shield and jacket to form a shielded cable. In this shielded cable, a layer working as both of a shield and a jacket is formed of aluminum/ polyimide tape 3, which is obtained by laminating a polyimide layer on an aluminum layer. The tape 3 having the excellent heat resistance and radiation resistance works as both of a shield and a jacket to narrow the diameter of a shielded cable and lighten it, and the heat resistance and the radiation resistance are improved remarkably. A drain wire 4 is used to facilitate the connecting work and the grounding work of wires, and the tape 3, which is obtained by unifying an aluminum layer as a conductor and a polyimide layer as an insulating material, is wound so that the aluminum surface is positioned in the drain wire side.
