For example, it is disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 62-264182, which will be described with reference to the cross-sectional view of the hoistway shown in FIG.
A hoisting machine 4 arranged on a machine base 3 is provided in a machine room 1 formed above the hoistway 2, and a main rope 7 is wound around a sheave 5 of the hoisting machine 4. One end of the main rope 7 is inserted into a rope hole 26 in the floor of the machine room 1 and is connected to a car frame 12 of the car 6, more specifically to an upper beam 12a, via a main rope holding rod (not shown in detail). On the other hand, the other end is connected to the counterweight 9 via the main rope holding rod 8 similar to that described above. The pit 2a at the bottom of the hoistway 2 has a car 6
The car shock absorber 10 provided corresponding to 1 and the counterweight shock absorber 11 provided corresponding to the counterweight 9 are installed. The conventional existing main rope 7 in the elevator having such a configuration is replaced by the new main rope 20 by the following procedure.

First, the worker 21 gets on the car 6, and while driving the car 6, the upper part of the car 6 and the upper part of the counterweight 9 are located at substantially the same position. Main rope holding rods 8 are fixed to both ends of the existing main rope 7, and are connected to the car 6 and the counterweight 9 through the main rope holding rods 8.
Set the adjustment allowance to the maximum and lower the positions of the car 6 and the counterweight 9 a little. Next, the car 6 is driven to stop at the hall 22 on the top floor. At this time, the levels of the sill of the car 6 and the sill of the hall 22 on the top floor are matched, and in this state, the distance A between the counterweight 9 and the shock absorber 11 and the current length X of the existing main rope 7 are measured. To do. Thus, the length L of the newly installed main rope 20 is calculated from the following mathematical expression (1).

In the conventional elevator main rope replacement method as described above, the operator 2 in the machine room 1
9 winds up all the existing main ropes 7 in the machine room 1, and then one new main rope 20 from the machine room 1 at one end onto the car 6,
Since the other end is lowered onto the counterweight 9, the work efficiency is very poor. In addition, since the main rope is soaked with oil, it is slippery, and the old main rope may have broken wires, which may cause hand injury. Needed to be increased. Also,
Since the car 6 is suspended and fixed by the lifting rope 25 having one end fixed to the machine base 3 of the machine room 1, the existing main ropes 7 are replaced, so that the operator must operate the machine room 1, the car 6 and In order to secure the safety of the worker 28 on the pit 2a, a total of three or more persons are required for the scaffold 24 of the pit 2a.
Since the scaffold 24 must be installed, a large amount of work time for preparation is required to replace the existing main ropes, which is a great inconvenience for elevator users.

Next, as step S6, the chain block 33 is operated to loosen the tension of the existing main rope 7a to which the grippers 31, 32 are attached, whereby the car 6 and the counterweight 9 are already attached to the new main ropes 20b, 20c. The existing main rope 7a, which is suspended and supported by the main rope holding rod 8 with the maximum adjustment allowance, is in a loosened state. Therefore, as step S7,
The existing main rope 7a is replaced with the new main rope 20a by the same method as the above-mentioned existing main rope 7b.
Since the load of the counterweight 9 has already been applied to b and 20c and the initial elongation has once occurred, and the load has become longer than the last-installed new main rope 20a, the main rope holding rod 8 of the new main rope 20a to be finally exchanged There is not enough dimension to travel from the frame 9a of the counterweight 9, and the adjustment spring 45a cannot be attached. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, the extension rods 43b and 43c and the nuts 42b and 42c are attached to the end portions of the main rope holding rods 8 of the new main ropes 20b and 20c which have been previously exchanged.
And hydraulic jacks 44b, 4 having cylinders 41b, 41c
4c respectively, hydraulic jacks 44b, 44c
To operate the main rope holding rods 8 of the new main ropes 20b and 20c.
The frame body 9a of the counterweight 9 which is counterbalanced with the anti-main rope connecting end is moved in a direction away from each other, and the initial extension amount of the new main ropes 20b and 20c is absorbed. In this state, finally the new main rope 20a
7, the main rope holding rod 8 can secure a sufficient dimension to travel from the frame 9a of the counterweight 9 as shown in FIG. 7, and the adjusting spring 45a can be attached. In this way, the existing main rope 7a of one group is replaced with the new main rope 2
When replacing with 0a, new main ropes 20b, 2
New main ropes 20 using chain block hung on 0c
Since the b and 20c are not contracted, the new main ropes 20b and 20c are not damaged. After that, the extension rods 43b and 43c, the nuts 42b and 42c, and the cylindrical body 4
Remove the hydraulic jacks 44b, 44c having 1b, 41c. In this way, all existing main ropes 7 are new main ropes 2.
It is replaced with 0, and finally, the tension of the new main rope 20 is adjusted to shift to normal operation.

In this way, the car 6 is fixed to the guide rail by the existing emergency stop device, and the balance weight 9 is temporarily supported by using the fixed car 6 and the existing main rope 7a. The car 6 and the counterweight 9 can be easily and easily supported. Further, the main rope winding jig 34 is attached to the upper beam 10a of the car 6, the new main rope 20 is attached thereto, and the new main rope 20 and the existing main rope 7 are attached.
Since the new main rope 20 is fed out while the existing main rope 7 is wound by the main rope winding jig 34, the main rope can be moved only in one direction at this time. You can work on the car without touching the main ropes directly, eliminating the risk of dropping the main ropes or injuring your hands. Further, since one of the workers 36 can replace the main rope, the labor can be greatly saved. Moreover, since the installation work of the scaffold 24 shown in FIG. 8 which is conventionally required is not required, not only the work efficiency is improved, but also the work time is shortened and the non-stop time of the elevator is shortened, which is less inconvenient for the worker. But it can be resolved. Further, after the main rope is replaced, the tension of the main rope can be adjusted without moving the car 6, which is safe.

As described above, according to the present invention, the existing main ropes are divided into two groups, and the existing main ropes of one group are contracted more than the other existing main ropes to suspend the suspended object. The existing main rope of the other group loosened due to this is replaced with the new main rope, and then the initial extension of the new main rope is absorbed by the hydraulic jack provided at the end of the new main rope of the other group. In this state, the existing main rope of one group was replaced with the new main rope, so that a small number of workers could work, and since the hydraulic jack was used, it was necessary to directly apply the chain block to the new main rope. In addition, the main rope of the elevator can be replaced without damaging the new main rope.
