のトラック(31)、(32)を走査するように、また

ープを長時間走行させた後でも所定の効果が得られるた
めである。一対の向かい合う摺接体の間隔は0.05m
mから1mmとしたが得られる効果に差はみられなかっ
た。また、テープ摺接体の摺道面は磁気ヘッドと同様に
ラッピングを行い、磁気テープに馴染み易い形状とし
た。磁気テープの走行によって生じた、あるいはテープ
上に存在していた異物は、磁気ヘッドが異物が存在して
いるトラック上を走査する以前に、テープ摺接体(4
