(Example) Hereinafter, it demonstrates concretely based on the Example shown in figure. It is the same as the prior art in that it has a power supply control unit 3 that determines traveling and steering conditions based on signals from the torque detection sensor 1 and the vehicle speed detection sensor 2 and controls the drive of the motor according to the conditions. (For example, as the vehicle speed increases, the power supply control unit lowers the motor drive voltage to save energy in the power. Further, the signal from the torque sensor is also used to change the motor drive voltage.) Is provided with four engine speed sensors as other running state detection sensors, and the comparison calculation unit 5 into which the outputs of the running state detection sensors such as vehicle speed and engine speed are input, and the predetermined running state conditions are set in advance. The control unit 8 is provided with the input storage unit 6 and the judging unit 7, and turns off the power supply to the motor according to the signal output from the judging unit.

When the key switch of the vehicle is turned on, the electric pump drive control device is initialized and enters the operating state. It is determined that the vehicle is running based on the input signals from the engine speed sensor 4 and the vehicle speed sensor 2. When the engine speed is present and there is no vehicle speed sensor signal, it is determined that the vehicle is stopped, and the torque sensor 1 signal acts on the motor. The voltage to be controlled is controlled by the power supply controller 3. As a result, the pumping action is performed according to the input torque, and the discharge flow rate and the pressure according to the input torque are supplied to the power steering apparatus, and sufficient power assistance is provided. (Fig. 2: Control by drive value determination A) When the vehicle travels from this state and a signal from the vehicle speed sensor 2 is input, the voltage acting on the motor is reduced according to the vehicle speed, and the amount of oil more than necessary is Prevents excessive pressure from being supplied and saves energy. These have the same functions as in the prior art. (FIG. 2: Control by drive value determination A) If the vehicle speed sensor 2 fails and the signal input becomes 0 while the vehicle is running, it is determined that the vehicle is stopped, and the same voltage as that during the stop is supplied to the motor. In other words, the discharge flow rate and pressure more than necessary act to cause excessive power assistance, which is extremely dangerous. For this reason, when the signal input from the engine speed sensor continues for a certain number of revolutions or more for a certain period of time or more, it is determined that the vehicle is running, the vehicle speed sensor 2 determines that there is a failure, and power to the motor is kept for a certain period of time. The control unit 8 operates so as to gradually cut it. As a result, the handle does not suddenly become light and the danger can be avoided. (Flowchart: Controlled by drive value determination B) When an engine stall occurs during traveling, in the electric pump driven by the battery, the handle does not suddenly become heavy. However, if you keep turning the handlebar when the battery is not charged, the battery may run out. In this case, it is desirable to turn off the power of the motor by sensing that the engine speed signal is not input, the vehicle speed signal is present, and the engine speed signal is not present. (Fig. 2: Controlled by drive value determination B) However, in the case of a primary engine stall, the handle becomes heavy when the power supply voltage is turned off, so it is monitored for a certain period of time, and when the engine speed signal is input again, the state is maintained as it is. In order to do so, it has a timer function. (FIG. 2: Controlled by drive value determination A) (Effect) According to the present invention, an electric pump drive that drives a pump, which is a steering device for a vehicle and is used as a hydraulic power source of a power steering device by hydraulic pressure, by an electric motor. In the control device, a vehicle speed, an engine speed, or a plurality of other running state detection devices, a running state condition storage unit that is input in advance,
It has a comparison operation unit that compares the output value of the traveling state detection device with the output value of the traveling state condition storage unit, and as the traveling judgment input in advance, it is abnormal when there is no engine speed and there is a vehicle speed signal input. When the engine rotation signal is not re-input after monitoring for a certain period of time, the electric pump drive condition is controlled to operate safely. Wasteful consumption of energy,
You can prevent the battery from going up.

Moreover, the driving condition of the electric pump can be held in the temporary engine stall. Further, it is possible to detect a case where the engine signal system has failed.
