【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 像坦持体と転写用帯電器間に、像坦持体
の移動に同期して用紙を走行させて転写用帯電器の転写
コロトロンからの転写ビームにより像坦持体上のトナー
像を用紙上に転写するようにした画像形成装置におい
て、転写用帯電器6の用紙18の進入方向入口側で、か
つ転写コロトロン6bの転写ビームの照射範囲内の位置
に、金属製の転写補助ローラ13を用紙18が通れるだ
けの間隙を像坦持体2との間に有して設け、この転写補
助ローラ13あるいは像担持体2の一方の両端部に、上
記間隙を作って転写補助ローラ13が像担持体2に転接
するための転接部17,17を設け、また転写補助ロー
ラ13を、転写用帯電器6のシールドケース14側に像
担持体2側へばね付勢して回動自在に支持した軸受15
に回転自在に支持し、この軸受15に、この軸受15が
上記転写補助ローラ13が像担持体2側に転接する以上
に回動した状態でシールドケース14側に固着したハロ
ーバッフル6aに当接するストッパ部15aを設けると
共に、転写補助ローラ13及びこれを支持する軸受15
を接地したことを特徴とする画像形成装置。
1. Roller 13 is provided with rolling contact portions 17 and 17 for rolling contact with the image carrier 2, and the transfer assisting roller 13 is biased toward the image carrier 2 by the shield case 14 side of the transfer charger 6.
