However, when drying clothes (M) (M) or a large amount of clothes (M) (M) made of a material resistant to heat, a gas burner (42) is used.
Since it is necessary to burn the gas with a large amount of heat, the gas amount adjusting valve (44) inserted in the gas circuit (43) to the gas burner (42) is left in a large open state when the drying operation under such conditions is completed. It's stuck. Therefore, the gas amount adjustment valve
When the clothes (M) (M) made of heat-sensitive material are dried in the above condition where the opening of (44) is large, the gas burner (42) burns strongly immediately after ignition, and then the heat power decreases. As a result, the inside of the drying chamber (13) is maintained at a predetermined temperature.
Then, immediately after ignition of the gas burner (42), the gas burner (42)
When high temperature combustion exhaust gas is supplied from the (42) into the drying chamber (13) and is blown directly to the above-mentioned clothes (M) (M) which are weak against heat, the clothes (M) (M) are heated. Will be damaged.

The control program having the contents shown in the flowchart of FIG. 3 is stored in the microcomputer provided in the control circuit (6), and the operation of the clothes dryer will be described below with reference to FIG. To do. . In step (71), the operation of the operation switch (35) is monitored, and when this is operated, step (72) is further executed to determine whether or not the temperature changeover switch (36) is turned on. Then, when the temperature changeover switch (36) is turned on, the set temperature T is set to "60 ° C", and conversely, when the temperature changeover switch (36) is not turned on, the set temperature T is set to "80 ° C" (step (73)). . Next, step (74) is executed to set the valve opening degree K of the gas amount adjusting valve (44) to 30% of the maximum opening degree. That is, this is maintained at 30% of the maximum opening regardless of the opening of the gas amount adjusting valve (44) at the end of the preceding drying operation. Then, in this state, step (75) is executed and the main valve (4
5) is opened and the motor (50) is driven to rotate the fan (5) and the rotating drum (10), and further, the ignition device (47) is held in an operating state. Further, it is monitored whether or not the gas burner (42) has burned by judging the output of the ignition confirmation device (48) (see step (76)). Next, if the gas burner (42) does not burn even after 1 second, the valve opening degree K is set to 10%.
Monitor whether the gas burner (42) burns in incremental steps (see step (78)). That is, by repeating steps (76) to (78) until the gas burner (42) burns, the opening of the gas amount adjusting valve (44) is increased stepwise.

It should be noted that the increase in the opening of the gas amount adjusting valve (44) is suppressed to 90% of the maximum opening, and if there is no output from the ignition confirmation device (48) for 20 seconds from the start of the ignition operation, the ignition cannot be performed. Judge and stop the ignition operation. That is, the main valve (45) is closed and the ignition device (47) is stopped. When it is confirmed that the combustion of the gas burner (42) has started when step (76) is executed, step (79) is executed to stop the ignition device (47).

In this case, in the above, the gas amount adjusting valve (4
Since the ignition operation to the gas burner (42) is continued while gradually increasing the opening degree of 4) from the throttled state, the amount of gas that can be ignited by each ignition due to fluctuations in the supply gas pressure and variations in the operation of the ignition device. , The gas burner (42) ignites and begins to burn in the weakest possible ignition condition for the supplied gas. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the disadvantage that the clothes (M) (M) are blown with high-temperature hot air and are thermally damaged. . Next, when steps (80) to (83) are executed and the drying chamber temperature S detected by the temperature sensor (27) arranged in the drying chamber (13) is higher than the set temperature T already described, the valve is opened. The value of degree K is 10
%, And conversely, when the drying chamber temperature S is lower than the set temperature T, the value of the valve opening degree K is increased by 10%. If the drying chamber temperature S is not lower than the set temperature T when the above step (82) is executed, the value of the valve opening degree K is maintained at the current value. . At step (84), the built-in timer A of the microcomputer is set to "0", and then steps (85) and (86) are executed to monitor whether or not the humidity sensor (28) gives a dry end signal. Wait for 10 seconds. Then, when the time of 10 seconds elapses before the drying end signal is output from the humidity sensor (28), the process returns to step (80) again and the drying chamber temperature S is returned.
And the set temperature T are compared, and the gas amount adjusting valve (44)
The inside of the drying chamber (13) is maintained at the set temperature T while adjusting the opening degree.
