Abstract

PURPOSE:To quickly dry woven cloth by a water-jet loom by passing the wet cloth between a hot-air duct and a suction duct oppositely placed above and below and passing hot air through the cloth. CONSTITUTION:A hot-air duct 2 and a suction duct 3 are closely placed above and below between a reed 1 and a pushing roll 4 facing their ventilation holes opposite to each other and separated to enable the passage of cloth (b). Wet woven cloth (b) woven by a water-jet loom is passed through the gap between the ducts in such a manner as to face the surface of the woven cloth (b) to the hot-air duct 2 and the reverse surface to the suction duct 3. The hot air from the hot air duct 2 is passed through the woven cloth (b) and sucked to the suction duct. The dried cloth is transferred through a pushing roll 6 and wound on a winding roll 7.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a space heater or a far-infrared pipe heater is installed just before a woven woven fabric is wound up to give radiant heat to the wet woven fabric or to heat the inside of the pipe. Air was supplied to heat the cloth, the pipe was brought into contact with the wet cloth, and the cloth was heated by heat conduction to be dried.
Of course, in order to accelerate drying, it is important to heat the wet woven fabric to increase the saturated vapor pressure of the air covering the filament surrounding the yarn, but the air covering the filament surrounding is saturated. When the temperature reaches 0, further drying does not proceed, so the air covering the filament periphery must always be replaced with unsaturated air, that is, air with low humidity. From this point of view, the conventional technique uses only natural ventilation and ventilation on one side of the woven fabric, and has a drawback that it cannot be said to be sufficient to remove the saturated air around the filament in the inner layer of the woven fabric.

According to the present invention, a hot air duct is provided on the front side of a wet woven fabric, and an absorption duct is provided on the back side thereof. Both ducts are close enough to allow the woven fabric to pass, and The ventilation holes provided in the ducts are installed so as to face each other so that warm air can flow through the woven fabric from the front side to the back side, and the saturated air around the filament in the inner layer of the woven fabric can be quickly supplied. Intended to be removed.

In FIG. 2, a hot air duct (2) is provided on the front side of the wet woven cloth (b) and an absorption duct (3) is provided on the back side, and both ducts (2) and (3) are woven cloth (b). Are close enough to pass. The warm air duct (2) is composed of a cover (2a) and a bottom plate (2b) in a long box shape, and the bottom plate (2b) is provided with a slit-shaped ventilation hole (2c), and a slit of the absorption duct (3). The air vent (3a) is installed opposite to the air vent (3a). A pipe heater (10) as a heat source for warm air is coupled to the bottom plate (2b) via a holder (2d).

Next, the operation will be described. The air flowing into the warm air duct is heated by the pipe heater (10), passes through the ventilation hole (2c), penetrates the woven cloth (b), is sucked into the absorption duct (3) through the ventilation hole (3a), and is discharged. It is discharged from the blower (9) through the wind duct (8).
