Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the coating process of ultraviolet-curing adhesive to web-like film as base material and realize the fine and exact laminating of the film coated with the adhesive and sheet printed matter to each other in the laminating process of sheet print laminate with the ultraviolet-curing adhesive. CONSTITUTION:Ultraviolet-curing adhesive to be applied to web-like film (a) is diluted with small amount of solvent and then heated so as to facilitate its coating. After the resultant adhesive is dried so as to remove the solvent through evaporation, the coated film (a) is cooled with a cooling roll 5 so as to properly control the viscosity of the adhesive coated on the surface of the film in order to realize the sure lamination of sheet printed matter (b) to the surface applied with the adhesive and finally cut to sheet papers after being ultraviolet-treated 7.

2. Description of the Related Art Generally, a laminating method is
Dilute the thermoplastic resin with a solvent, reduce the viscosity and apply it to a web-shaped film, then remove the solvent by a drying device,
Then, the film and the printed sheet are inserted between a heating roll and a rubber roll, and after being pressure-bonded to each other, they are cut into a predetermined size to obtain a laminated sheet.

Further, in the sheet-fed laminating process using an ultraviolet-curable adhesive, the adhesive is applied to a web-like film without using a solvent, and then it is attached to a printing sheet by a heating roll and is irradiated with ultraviolet rays. It is processed and cut to obtain a product.

Further, as a laminating method using an ultraviolet curable adhesive, the adhesive is diluted with a large amount of a solvent, applied, dried, and then laminated with a sheet and subjected to an ultraviolet irradiation treatment to be cut. However, in the case of single-wafer laminating processing, there are many small lots and many kinds of products, so in order to shorten the setup means, almost all adhesive coating processing is a kiss-touch type reverse roll coater. Means have been adopted.

The suitable viscosity of the adhesive when the ultraviolet curable adhesive is applied to the web-shaped film by the above-mentioned kiss-touch type reverse roll coater means is 80 to 150 C. P. In S, the former solventless high-viscosity UV-curable adhesive in the prior art is not suitable for application, and the high-viscosity adhesive is applied to the web-like film by some means, and the heat roll and the rubber roll are applied. When it is inserted between the sheets and pasted with the sheet in a heated state, the adhesive melts and flows, causing adverse effects such as protruding from the peripheral edge of the sheet. After further pasting, it passes through the ultraviolet irradiation device. Before that, there is a drawback that a peeled part of the adhesive is generated, resulting in a defective product. Further, when using a UV curable adhesive diluted with a large amount of solvent like the latter in the prior art, it has the advantage that the product does not change with time after curing, but it has a large amount of solvent, which is environmentally friendly. However, there is a problem in that the adhesive at the time of bonding lacks homogeneity, has poor fluidity and tends to generate bubbles, and thus does not have a beautiful gloss, resulting in poor finish.

The viscosity of the adhesive when the ultraviolet curable adhesive is attached to the web-shaped film is 1000 C. P. In the case of S or less, the finished result is good, but peeling may occur in the adhesion before irradiation with ultraviolet rays after laminating, and 3000C. P. When it is S or more, peeling is eliminated, but there is a problem in the finished state, and the proper viscosity range of the ultraviolet curable adhesive by the kiss touch type reverse roll coater is 80 to 150 C.I. P. It was S.

The processing method according to the present invention has been made in view of the above, and an ultraviolet curable adhesive diluted with a small amount of a solvent is applied to one side of a web-shaped film in an appropriately heated state. After coating with a kiss-touch type reverse roll coater, the solvent is diffused and removed by a drying device, and then the web-shaped film is inserted between a rotating cooling roll and a contact pressure roll to increase the viscosity of the adhesive by a cooling action. It is characterized in that a sheet-fed printed laminate is obtained by stacking sheet-fed printed materials on the adhesive surface and laminating them together, curing the adhesive by an irradiation treatment with ultraviolet rays, and then cutting with a cutting device.

According to the present invention, since the viscosity of the UV-curable adhesive is adjusted to an appropriate viscosity in accordance with the processing content, the application of the UV-curable adhesive to the web-shaped film is extremely easy and uniform. It is finished on the coated surface, and in laminating with sheet-fed printed matter, peeling does not occur on the laminating surface of the sheet-fed printed matter by optimizing the viscosity of the adhesive by a cooling roll, and curling phenomenon can be prevented. In addition to being able to surely finish the bonding, the drying efficiency is good because the amount of solvent used is small, so the production efficiency is improved because the processing speed is fast, and it is economical in using the solvent.
It has the effect of not causing environmental pollution.
