A method in which a slit is provided in the outer diameter member and the elasticity or heat expansion and cooling contraction of the outer diameter member is used to press fit and form a resin further on the outside after press fitting, or to insert into a metal member and crimp and hold the end face. Alternatively, the outer diameter member is heated and expanded, the inner diameter member is cooled and shrunk, and press-fitted, and then the inner diameter member is held by heat shrinkage of the outer diameter member by heat treatment.

When the dimensional difference between the thermal expansion of the outer diameter member, the cooling shrinkage of the inner diameter member and the contraction of the outer diameter member due to the subsequent heat treatment is used, the fitting force is weak and the inner diameter member is easily pulled out from the outer diameter member, limiting the range of use. . Further, when the metal member is further fitted to the outer diameter member and the metal member is made by the caulmer method, the shape becomes large and the man-hours increase correspondingly, which is expensive.

According to the present invention, as described above, the inner diameter member 2 has a spherical surface or a partial spherical surface, and the outer diameter portion 3 covers a part or the whole of the spherical surface so that the inner diameter member and the outer diameter member can freely slide. Universal joint 1
At the time of manufacturing, a film 4 is formed on the spherical surface of the inner diameter portion 2 with a thickness that allows the inner diameter member 2 to hold a rotatable clearance 5 relative to the outer diameter member 3 due to a substance that is dissolved by a solvent, decomposed by microorganisms such as bacteria, or sublimable. After being formed by coating, it is inserted into the mold cavity and the outer diameter member 3 is integrally injection-molded, and then the film 4 formed by molding the molded product is removed by an appropriate method depending on the property. It is characterized in that a clearance is provided so that it can move freely.

After drying, this inner diameter member is inserted into a mold to be used as an outer diameter member, and polyphenylene sulfide is injection-molded. Then, the integrated inner diameter member and outer diameter member are put into an ultrasonic cleaning machine using hot water at a temperature of 60 ° C., and polyvinyl alcohol is eluted to form a clearance in which the inner diameter member and the outer diameter member can freely move. I was able to do it.

After inserting into the mold to integrally mold the outer diameter member, the membrane material formed on the inner diameter member is sublimated, eluted with solvent, or decomposed by bacteria to provide an appropriate clearance. No need for press-fitting and peripheral caulking steps after molding both separately into the inside, and since the slit is made in the outer diameter member and expanded, the inner diameter member is not inserted and the outer diameter member is not put in the metal housing. The force to pull out the member from the outer diameter member can be increased, and the economic effect due to the simplification of the process is also very large.
