説明する。第1図は圧縮機駆動回路の制御ブロック図で
ある。電源1により給電された電力は、保護スイッチ2
を介して整流部3で整流される。整流された直流電力は
インバータ部5で再び交流化されて、可変速モータ6に
供給される。可変速モータ6の回転数の制御は電流セン
サ4により取り込まれた直流電流及びインバータ部5と
出力電圧に応じて制御部8で行なわれる。即ち、電流セ
ンサ4は、所定の電流値以上になったら回転数を低下せ
しめる。また上記出力電圧は、圧縮機回転数を検出する
ための信号として、制御部8にとり込んでいるものであ
る。以上の容量制御形の空気調和機における冷媒ガス洩
れ等の異常時には、圧縮機の温度が上昇し可変速モータ
6を損ねる恐れがあるので、温度センサ7により圧縮機
本体の温度を検出して保護スイッチ2をオフする様にな
っている。温度センサ7と保護スイッチ2は普通一体に
なったバイメタルスイッチが用い易く、これを圧縮機表
面に取付けてるが、圧縮機の可変速モータ6に流れる大
きな電流が流れるため、保護スイッチ2は大きなものに
なり、高価になっている。また、温度センサ7および保
護スイッチ2は圧縮機表面に取付けていることと大きな
電流を流すための太い配線が必要であることから、配線
処理が煩雑になっている。

に於ける保護スイッチ2と温度センサ7とに代用でき
