2. Description of the Related Art With the advancement of factory automation and the sophistication of automobiles, various electrical components have been incorporated into a machine body and complicated wiring has been required. For wiring where a large amount of current flows, which cannot be done with a printed circuit board, or wiring far from the power supply,
The wiring by the electric wire is absolutely necessary. Aiming at carrying out this wiring work accurately and efficiently, a harness in which a plurality of electric wires are arranged together and connectors are incorporated at both ends thereof to be bundled into a single unit is often used. By adopting this harness, wiring to various electrical components can be extremely rationalized in terms of insertion, connection, and removal, and also, damage and disconnection of individual electric wires can be effectively protected, and it can be used in complex electrical components. It has become possible to operate it easily without any trouble.

In this harness, a plurality of electric wires are usually bundled together, and a vinyl tape is spirally wound around the electric wires to form a cable. In order to mechanically perform the processing. The spiral taper is already on the market and is widely used by many electric component subcontractors. In the known spiral taping device, a roll-shaped tape is attached around the inner portion of the cutout for holding a plurality of electric wires as a center, as seen in the invention disclosed in, for example, JP-A-4-32467. It consists of a structure that allows the rotor to rotate, and multiple electric wires are sent together in the back of the cutout, and the end of the vinyl tape attached to the rotor is
After temporarily attaching by hand the necessary parts of the multiple wires that have been put together, when the rotor is operated, the tape naturally winds around the wires in a spiral shape. , It is a harness that is tightly bundled and integrated into a cable.

However, the harness in which the vinyl tape is simply wound is used in a place where it is exposed to rainwater and constantly vibrated like a harness for a tail lamp that is wired along the lower surface of the body of an automobile. If the cable is damaged, the risk of coating breakage or wire breakage is extremely high. Therefore, as a harness dedicated to such harsh areas, cover it with another auxiliary coating material before winding vinyl tape and taping it from above. The harness having a special structure in which the completed harness is double protected is adopted. As an auxiliary covering material to be placed inside the vinyl tape, a vinyl tube with a diameter that is large enough to pass a plurality of electric wires to be bundled together and has a sufficient surplus is opened vertically. Normally used. Since this vinyl tube is wound into a roll at a processing plant and carried in as a long length of 100 m or 200 m, it is cut into lengths according to the total length of the harness at the processing plant and split vertically. Used as a tubular covering material.

The reason why the tube-shaped covering material constructed as described above is adopted is not only economical but also processing reasons. That is, first, the harness raw material that is passed to this taping processing stage is one in which connectors have already been welded to both ends of a plurality of electric wires and wiring processing has been performed, and the connectors interfere and remain as vinyl tubes. It is not possible to insert it with, and it is unavoidable that the vinyl tube must be split vertically, and with a flat vinyl tape of a specified width, it is difficult to cover multiple wires along the length direction. However, there is a reason that it is easier to work if a self-shape retaining property is previously provided in a gutter shape or a cylindrical shape, and there remains a problem of pretreatment processing as a tube-shaped covering material,
Perhaps the workability of taping is prioritized, and even now, this tubular covering material is still being adopted.

However, the self-shape retaining property of this tube-shaped covering material is contrary to the above-mentioned advantage that a plurality of electric wires cannot be put together in one piece unless the cut end is expanded at each taping operation stage. Therefore, in the process of operating the known taping device, the worker actually performs the work of expanding the cut in parallel. In the present invention, in view of the above-mentioned situation, the above-mentioned work parallel to the operation of the taping device can be mechanized as much as possible, and the configuration thereof will be described below in detail.

The hook shape is a key shape in which the size of the curved key shape is determined according to the number of electric wires to be put together, and the location of the hook shape is in front of the electric wire feeding port of the spiral taping device. A predetermined position on the side, that is, a position about 10 to 15 cm from the winding position of the tape of the spiral taping device to the front side (the side that opposes the direction in which the electric wire and the tubular covering material flow. The same meaning will be applied hereinafter.). In addition, the wires should be arranged so as to form a slightly acute angle with the tip thereof on the front side of the flow, rather than being orthogonal to the flowing electric wire and the tubular covering material in the planar arrangement.

Immediately before the hook-shaped metal fitting (usually 2-3 cm)
(Around this point), a roller arm is attached to the flowing electric wire and the tubular covering material in a substantially orthogonal shape and in a substantially horizontal shape, and below the roller arm, an electric wire flowing vertically separately. And, the gutter-shaped roofed strips with a tapered shape, which bundle the tube-shaped covering materials in a vertically overlapping manner and send them toward the hook-shaped metal fitting, are arranged substantially orthogonally. In addition, on the front side of this trough-shaped piece, a shallow upper curved lower regulation plate is attached so as to be close to or continuous with it and to be substantially parallel to the previous roller arm, and directly above the lower regulation plate. Is forcibly opened with the tube-shaped covering material to allow a gap to pass therethrough, and a shallow upward curved upper regulating plate for collectively receiving a plurality of electric wires is arranged in parallel.

On the other hand, on the front side, which is appropriately separated from the lower control plate and the upper control plate (usually about 30 cm is sufficient), it is displaced with respect to the feeding path of the tubular covering material either in the height position or in the plane arrangement. Ensure that the wire feed rollers are arranged. The tubular covering material requires a manual work of forcibly expanding and inserting one end portion by a worker's hand into a gap portion formed by the lower regulation plate and the upper regulation plate. In order to prevent the wiring work from being disturbed by the harness raw material that has already been set, the lower regulation plate and the upper regulation plate have multiple wire parts that will be present after the lower regulation plate and the upper regulation plate. From the extension line of the track connecting the plate and the back of the taping device notch, it is necessary to be regulated so that it is displaced to the higher side in height, or to the left or right on the plane arrangement, This electric wire feeding roller is a member responsible for the regulation, and while regulating, a plurality of electric wire portions existing after the lower regulation plate and the upper regulation plate smoothly move on the shallow curved surface of the upper regulation plate. Flow through For memorial, it must be formed as a roller structure.

A trough-shaped trough portion 3 with a roof, which is arranged below the roller arm 2 in an orthogonal direction (direction following the flow of a plurality of electric wires 7, 7, ... And the tubular covering material 8), is shown in FIG. As shown in the figure, the planar shape is a tapered tongue shape and the center is shallowly curved downward in the cross section, one side edge, the right side edge in the figure is greatly curved upward, and as it is, up to the midway Although it can be formed as an independent member by itself, it is formed by turning to form a roof-corresponding portion, but like the example shown in the embodiment, it is continuously formed as a part of the lower regulation plate 4 described later. With such a structure, manufacturing and assembling can be facilitated, and adjustment for maintaining the continuity of the flow of the tubular covering material 8 supported and moved by the lower regulating plate 4 can be eliminated. It is possible and extremely convenient.

This effect is certainly due to the fact that a known spiral taping device has been developed for taping work and the work has been dramatically simplified, but this known device is used during the work of winding the auxiliary coating material. The extremely advantageous feature of being able to surely make an advantage also in terms of work efficiency, which did not necessarily lead to work efficiency as a whole, necessarily required one auxiliary worker when doing I have. Therefore, simply increasing the work accuracy (improving the product finish) and avoiding the complexity of the work (which is a certain effect) does not lead to an improvement in work efficiency even though it is extremely expensive. For this reason, even in a small-scale subcontracting factory that has not been able to adopt the known spiral taping device, it can be used as a sufficiently profitable device.
