Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out the residual thread removal processing by removing the residual thread left in a wound state on a bobbin through melting. CONSTITUTION:A bobbin transport device 5 transports a residual thread bobbin in a held state (bobbin on which the residual thread 2 is wound) 3a to a residual thread melting processing part, and then stops the bobbin temporarily. The injection pipe 45 of a redidual thread melting device 6 advances toward the residual thread bobbin 3a in stop state, and an injection port 47 approaches one edge side of the outer surface of the residual thread 2. In this state, the injection pipe 45 shifts from one edge side of the outer surface of the residual thread 2 toward the other edge side, jetting the hot air from the injection port 47, and the taken-up residual thread 2 is graually melted from one edge side according to the shift. Accompanied with the advance of the injection pipe 45, also the suction pipe 55 of a residual thread suction device 7 is advanced at a proper time, and the residual thread in a molten state is suction-removed. Accordingly, the removal processing for the residual thread 2 wound on the bobbin 3a can be carried out with a high efficiency.

2. Description of the Related Art When a bobbin wound with a twisted yarn is set on a creel of a loom or a knitting machine for weaving or knitting, the yarn of the bobbin cannot be used up to the end because it is necessary to maintain a required thread tension. Since twisting tends to occur at a part from the beginning of winding the yarn on the bobbin due to
There was no choice but to leave a certain amount as residual thread. Such residual yarn must be removed before the new twist yarn is wound on the bobbin.

However, in the residual thread removing process, the one using a cutter knife relies entirely on the manual work, and even the one using the winder has a large proportion of the manual work. The efficiency was very poor. It is an object of the present invention to provide a bobbin residual thread removing device that automates the bobbin residual thread removal processing to achieve labor saving.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the residual thread suction device 7 has a flat suction port 53 which is connected to a suction source (not shown) and extends over substantially the entire width of the bobbin in the longitudinal direction. It has a suction tube 55. The suction pipe 55 is attached to a movable body 60 of a slide type air cylinder 59 having the same structure as the above, which is fixed to an upper end portion of a column 56 standing upright on a side portion of the ejection pipe 45. It moves forward and backward according to the forward and backward movement of the body 60. In the forward movement state shown in FIG. 8, the suction port 53 approaches the outer peripheral surface 61 of the bobbin winding cylinder,
Aspirate the blown residual thread. Then, after the suction is completed, as shown in FIG. 6, it is retracted from the bobbin. In this embodiment, since the jet port 47 and the suction port 53 are provided adjacent to each other, the residual yarn is sucked after the wound residual yarn is completely melted so that the fusion cutting can be stably performed. Good.

FIG. 10 illustrates another embodiment of the bobbin residual yarn removing device according to the present invention. In the bobbin transfer device 5, the retainer holding the residual yarn bobbin 3a removes the residual yarn by fusing. The processing unit 4 to be crossed is linearly crossed, and the bobbin is temporarily stopped in the processing unit 4. Further, the jetting pipe 45 which constitutes the residual yarn cutting device 6 and the suction pipe 55 which constitutes the residual yarn suction device 7 are arranged so as to face each other with the residual yarn bobbin 3a interposed therebetween. It has the same configuration as in the embodiment. In this embodiment, since the ejection port 47 and the suction port 53 face each other with the residual thread bobbin 3a interposed therebetween, there is no possibility that the fusion cutting becomes unstable even if the residual thread suction is started at the same time when the fusion cutting is started. Therefore, the residual yarn can be sequentially sucked by the amount that has been melted, and the time loss can be eliminated and the residual yarn removal process can be made more efficient than when the residual yarn is sucked after the wound residual yarn is completely melted. .
