Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate bubbles remaining at the end part and prevent defective packing of a coating material to improve the surface quality of a resin molded item. CONSTITUTION:A space 3 is formed between a first mold 1 and a second mold 2 which can move to/from the first mold 1. A molding resin 4a is compression molded into a resin molded body 4 in this space 3. After that, a coating material 5a is injected onto the surface of the resin molded body 4. A coating layer 5 is provided by again conducting compression molding. In this molding method, when a molding resin for forming the coating layer 5, a space 6a is formed between the resin molded body 4 and a split mold 6 provided at the end of the resin molded body 4. In this manner, bubbles are not generated on the top surface of the molded item but in the space 6a.

Therefore, when the resin molding A having the coating layer 5 on the surface of the box-shaped resin molding 4 is manufactured by using the mold device having the above-mentioned structure, it is carried out as follows. is there. That is, first, as shown in FIG.
The mold 2 is raised to form the space 3, and in this state,
A molding resin 4a, which is a material of the resin molding 4, is placed on the first molding die 1. Here, a fiber reinforced thermosetting resin is used as the molding resin 4a, and a filler such as calcium carbonate or aluminum hydroxide is added to an unsaturated polyester resin or the like, a fibrous reinforcing material such as glass fiber or carbon fiber, and if necessary, added. A mixture of a viscous agent, a coloring agent, etc., which is placed on the first mold 1 as BMC (bulk molding compound), SMC (sheet molding compound), etc., and supplied. Next, as shown in FIG. 4, the second molding die 2 is lowered to clamp the molding resin 4a under pressure to mold the resin molding 4. Next, as shown in FIG.
6 is slightly raised to form a slight gap between the surface of the resin molded body 4 and the first molding die 1, and then, as shown in FIG.
As described above, the split mold 6 is raised to form a space 6a between the end of the resin molded body 4 and the split mold 6. FIG. 7 shows an enlarged view of a space portion formed between the end of the resin molding 4 and the split mold 6. Next, as shown in FIG. 8, the on-off valve 10 is opened to open the on-off valve 10 and the coating material 5a is exemplified by a molding resin made of a resin such as an unsaturated polyester resin, a vinyl ester resin, an epoxy resin, an acrylic resin, or a mixture of these resins.
Is injected from the molding resin injection port 8 into the slight gap between the surface side of the resin molding 4 and the first molding die 1 by the coating material supply device 9. In this case, even if air bubbles are generated, the space 6 between the end of the resin molding 4 and the split mold 6
In addition, the coating material 5a flows into this portion as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10. When the injection of the coating material 5a is completed and the recompression molding is completed, the second molding die 2 is raised to open the mold as shown in FIG. 11, and the resin molded product A is taken out in this state. In the embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings, an example of a bath is shown as the resin molded product A. In the thus manufactured bath, no bubbles are found on the surface of the container-shaped resin molded body 4,
Even if bubbles are generated, they are generated on the back surface side of the flange portion of the container-shaped resin molded body 4, and the commercial value is not reduced. By the way, in the above manufacturing, the mold temperature of the mold device is set to 140 ° C.
The molding is performed in the steps of FIG.

As described above, according to the present invention, since a space is provided between the split mold provided at the end of the resin molded body and the resin molded body at the time of injecting the coating material, the bubbles are separated from each other. Escapes into the space between the resin molded body and the resin molded body, whereby no bubbles remain on the surface side of the resin molded body, and the coating material can be reliably filled and the lack of filling can be eliminated. It is possible to manufacture a resin molded product having good surface quality without marks.
