【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】幅広の原紙を巻取った長尺のログを切断し
て数個のロール紙にするログカッターと、切断されたロ
ール紙を数個ずつ包装する包装機との間に設けられ、ロ
グを切断した際に生じたトリム部を包装機への送り系路
から排出するためのトリミング装置であって、ログカッ
ターで切断されたロール紙とトリム部を切断された状態
に並べたままで送り込む供給コンベヤと、該供給コンベ
ヤから送り込まれるロール紙とトリム部を受け取ると共
にトリム部を系外に排出する作業コンベヤとからなり、
前記作業コンベヤの送り速度は前記供給コンベヤの送り
速度よりも早くなっており、その両者の速度比に応じて
作業コンベヤのコンベヤ長を長くして、作業コンベヤと
供給コンベヤは同期運転するようになっており、前記作
業コンベヤは、下コンベヤと上コンベヤとからなり、下
コンベヤにはロール紙が送られてくる領域にロール紙を
載せる受台が等間隔に取付けられ、トリム部が送られて
くる領域には前記受台を取付けず、ロール紙のみ前記受
台と上コンベヤとで挟んで包装機へ送り、トリム部は前
記台で支持することなく落下させるように構成されてい
ることを特徴とするロール紙のトリミング装置。
