【実施例】以下本発明の第一の実施例につき、図面を参
照して説明する。まず二槽式洗濯機を示す図5、図6に
おいて、1は角筒状をなす外箱で、その内部には槽2が
配設されている。この槽2は仕切り壁2aによって、洗
濯槽3と脱水槽4に区分されている。その洗濯槽3内に
は後述する如く底部を陥没することにより凹部3aを形
成しこの凹部3a内にパルセ−タ5を回動自在に配設し
ている。一方、外箱1の下部面を塞ぐように設けられた
台板6上には、洗濯用モ−タ7が取り付けられており、
洗濯用モ−タ7とパルセ−タ5との間をベルト伝達機構
8により連結し、パルセ−タ5を洗濯用モ−タ7の動作
に伴い回転駆動させるようにしている。一方、洗濯槽3
の底部であってパルセ−タ5下面即ち凹部3a内に位置
して排水口10が形成されており、この排水口10から
は、洗濯槽3外底側より連結パイプ9が導出されてい
る。連結パイプ9は、排水口10から出て排水弁11を
介して排水ホ−ス12に接続されており、排水弁11の
作動にともない洗濯槽3内の水が、排水ホ−ス12を通
して機外へ排出されるようになっている。一方、脱水槽
4内には脱水かご13が設けられている。脱水かご13
は、台板6上に取り付けられた脱水用モ−タ14に連結
されており、この脱水用モ−タ14の動作に伴い直接に
回転駆動され、脱水された水は連結パイプ15を介して
排水ホ−ス12から機外へ排出されるようになってい
る。一方、16は前記洗濯槽の右奥隅部を外方へ膨出し
て形成した溢水室で、その溢水室16の下面には、溢水
口17が形成されている。そしてこの溢水口17と排水
ホ−ス12との間は溢水パイプ19により連結されてい
る。

が形成されていて、この傾斜面32により凹部3a内の
水を排水口10に導くようになっている。そして、その
排水口10が形成された部分の周囲を、前記傾斜面32
側が開放した馬蹄形の主リブ27と、その主リブ27の
開放した入口に直状の副リブ28を前後にずらして三箇
所に配置し、もってこれら主リブ27と副リブ28によ
り排水口10を囲む第二のリブ29を構成している。

は、水が通るには十分な幅であるが、ヘアピンなどの異
物が通るには狭いため、異物が排水口10に流れ出る心
配はほとんどない。
