<Prior Art> A pair of electrodes provided on this kind of conductive film so as to be isolated from each other is generally a metal foil such as copper or aluminum. Then, these electrodes are connected to the power source side through a considerably thick connecting member. For example, while the thickness of the conductive film is about 0.2 mm and the thickness of the electrode foil is about 0.5 mm, the thickness of the connecting member reaches several mm. Despite the fact that the main parts in the center of the electric carpet etc. are very thin,
Due to the thick connecting member, connection at the peripheral edge or branching at the central portion may cause unnatural swelling at the site, which may give the user an unpleasant feeling.

As a countermeasure against this, attempts have been made to solder the foil electrode and the connecting member or the connecting members together, but due to the thinness of these electrodes and the connecting member, a reliable joining state cannot always be obtained. Rather, there is a possibility that the electrode or the like may be significantly deformed or even damaged due to a local high temperature at the time of soldering. In order to solve this problem, JP-A-2-
As can be seen in Japanese Patent No. 30073, the crimping portion, which is connected to a contact made of a metal sheet material, is surrounded by a U-shaped slit forming an inner circumference of a body portion having a square shape, and to the body portion. Strength that has a series of cut-and-raised pieces at the base, and when the cut-and-raised pieces lifted from the main body are returned to the same plane as the main body, break through the insulating coating and bite into the flat conductor cable inside. A connector formed by forming the protrusions or teeth of the cut and raised pieces on the piece has already been proposed in part in the art.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, according to the proposal, since the protrusions are “claw-shaped teeth”, the biteability into the foil-shaped flat conductor is generally good,
The electric contact area that appears between the conductor and the tooth is not always sufficiently large, and there is a surface that is not necessarily suitable for electric appliances such as electric blankets having a relatively large current carrying capacity.
In addition, no protrusions for biting are formed on the body part around the cut-and-raised piece provided with "claw-shaped teeth", and therefore, when crimping the terminal to a flat conductor cable with a relatively thick wall, , The cable around the part where the teeth contacted was cut and raised and pulled toward the piece, and as a result, there was a fear that the bite into the foil conductor by the "claw-shaped teeth" did not always appear sufficiently. . In view of such circumstances, the present invention is a crimp terminal as a constituent member of a female or male connector for electrically connecting the band-shaped electric wires to each other, the thickness of which is as thin as possible. It is an object of the present invention to provide a flat terminal with a thin claw having a structure in which the electrical conduction state to a strip-shaped electric wire is surely and smoothly revealed by the crimping operation without the need to peel off the insulating coating.

<Means for Solving the Problem> The present inventor arrived at the present invention through various trials and examinations in order to achieve this object, and the flat terminal with a claw is a contact made of a metal sheet material. The connected crimping portion has a cut-and-raised piece that is connected to the main body portion at the base portion, and the cut-and-raised piece is lifted from the main body portion at a portion separated from the contactor, and the main body portion is cut and raised. The first protruding toward one side
A protrusion is provided, and the cut-and-raised piece is provided with a second projection protruding toward the main body portion, and the first and second projections are crimped with a strip-shaped electric wire between the main body portion and the cut-and-raised piece. At this time, a semi-cylindrical body that has a strength that breaks through the insulating coating of the electric wire and bites into the foil-shaped conductor inside, and has a semi-cylindrical body that forms a substantially semicircular partial arc in plan view has its two free ends facing each other. It is characterized in that the first projection and the second projection are configured in the state of being made to move.

The metal sheet material is preferably one that can be easily cut and raised and can impart sufficient strength to the first and second protrusions. For example, a mild steel sheet metal or a relatively hard aluminum sheet can be used. An alloy sheet material or a copper alloy sheet material such as brass, which is relatively hard, is suitable. A thickness of about 0.5 mm is sufficient.

<Operation> In the flat terminal with claws for connecting the strip-shaped electric wire according to the present invention, the thickness of the foil conductive material having a thickness of about 0.5 mm or less is 1.0 mm at most, which is embedded in the insulating coating. A strip-shaped electric wire having a thickness of 10 mm is inserted between the cut-and-raised piece and the body portion without being hindered by the presence of the contactor, and a pressing force is applied to the cut-and-raised piece to form a body. When the so-called "crimping" operation is performed by restoring the same surface as the part and further applying a stronger pressing force to the entire surface of the crimping portion, the first and second protrusions in the facing state are strip-shaped respectively. The insulation coating is forcibly penetrated from both the front and back sides of the electric wire, and it penetrates into the foil-shaped conductive material inside. Depending on the height, shape, hardness, etc. of these protrusions, the conductive material also pierces, and the insulating coating on the back side is partially cut into the conductive material. Such "crimping" automatically reveals the electrical connection of the terminal to the strip-shaped electric wire in which the insulating material is not removed. Moreover, after crimping, a very thin connecting portion having a thickness of the band-shaped electric wire only added to the thickness of the crimping portion, for example, a thickness of about 1.5 mm can be obtained. In addition, the strip-shaped electric wire cannot be removed from the crimp terminal by the bite and is firmly fixed to the terminal.

Particularly, in the flat terminal with the claw of the present invention, each of the first and second protrusions is formed of a semi-cylindrical body forming a partial circular arc of a substantially semicircular shape in plan view, and its two free ends are opposed to each other. After being crimped as described above, the semi-cylindrical body comes into contact with the foil-shaped conductive material inside the strip-shaped electric wire on the inner and outer surfaces of the semi-cylindrical body to electrically connect the terminal and the electric wire. Can be reliably achieved even though the insulation coating is not removed.

Further, since the semi-cylindrical bodies forming a substantially semi-circular partial arc in a plan view have a shape in which two free ends are opposed to each other with a space of an appropriate width, the strip-shaped electric wire assembly by the projections. There is no direction in stopping action. That is, the strength of the pull-out preventing action at that time is constant no matter which direction the strip-shaped electric wire after crimping is pulled with respect to the terminal.

As is apparent from FIG. 1, each of the first protrusion (5) and the second protrusion (6) is a semi-cylindrical body having a partial circular arc corresponding to approximately 1/2 circumference in a plan view. Pair of small protrusions (5a), (5
a), (6a), (6a), the free end of them is an appropriate space (5b),
(5b), (6b), and (6b) are formed so as to be opposed to each other. In the first embodiment, the line connecting the two spaces (5b) or (6b) in each of the protrusions (5) and (6) intersects with the longitudinal direction of the strip-shaped electric wire (T). is there. Therefore, in the first embodiment, the electric wire holding force when the strip-shaped electric wire is pulled in the longitudinal direction is significantly larger than the electric wire holding force when the external force is applied in the lateral direction. However, the difference is not so large, and it can be considered that the wire locking action by the protrusion has almost no anisotropy.

What is more important than that is that the portion of the foil-shaped conductive material inside the strip-shaped wire that will be sandwiched between the pair of opposed small claw-shaped protrusions (5a) and (6a) after crimping is , Above space (5
Since it is connected to the outside through b) and (6b), there is no fear that the substantially circular portion will be separated from the surrounding conductive material and fall off.

The second embodiment shown in FIG. 5 is different from the above-mentioned first embodiment in that the first projection (5 ') and the second projection (6') are paired with each other as a pair of small cylinders. Protrusions (5a), (5a), (6a), (6a)

The point is that the line connecting b) and (6b) is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the strip-shaped electric wire. Therefore, in the terminal of this example, although the wire locking action in the width direction of the strip-shaped wire is slightly larger, it is not so different as anisotropy.

In the third embodiment shown in FIG. 6, with respect to the orientations of both the first and second projections, the first projection in the main body portion (3) of the crimping portion (2) is the projection (5) in the first embodiment. And the protrusions (5 ') in the second embodiment, and the second protrusions in the cut-and-raised piece (4) are also the protrusions (6) of the first embodiment and the protrusions of the second embodiment.
It is a mixture of (6 ′). Therefore, in this example, the isotropy in the band-shaped wire locking action is further improved.

Various modifications are made to each of the above embodiments, for example, a plurality of cut-and-raised pieces in the crimping portion are used instead of one, and those sizes and orientations are variously combined, or the contactor is made into another ready-made piece. Modifications such as a tongue having a minimum necessary size capable of being fixed to the terminal by welding or other methods are possible.

<Advantages of the Invention> The present invention as described above fully achieves the above-mentioned objects, and improves the work efficiency because it is not necessary to remove the insulating coating of the band-shaped electric wire before crimping. In addition, it is possible to prevent various obstacles (incomplete conduction due to insufficient peeling, damage to the wire due to excessive cuts for peeling, etc.) due to incomplete coating removal. Moreover, it is easy to manufacture because it is only necessary to provide protrusions on the cut-and-raised pieces of the crimping portion connected to the contactor and the main body portion in an opposed manner, and the crimping operation is the same as when there is no protrusion when used. You can do it. Furthermore, since each semi-cylindrical small projection is made to face each other, it will bite into the strip-shaped electric wire from both front and back surfaces, and its arc-shaped inner and outer surfaces will contact the foil-shaped conductive material. The electrical contact area per each protrusion is more than doubled as compared with the contact only at the outer peripheral part in, and therefore conduction can be guaranteed easily and surely.
This bite also prevents the conductive material from falling off the crimp terminal, which produces the effect of two birds with one stone.
