[Structure] A vertical structure in which a chain conveyor is vertically installed in a furnace and a processed product is moved in a vertical direction to perform heat treatment is characterized.
Description
【0001】[0001]
The present invention relates to a furnace for performing solution treatment and aging treatment which are heat treatment of aluminum. Solution treatment is a treatment in which an alloy is heated to a temperature above its solid solution temperature to sufficiently disperse the component metals to form a solid solution, and then rapidly cooled at a rate such that precipitation does not occur during cooling to form a supersaturated solid solution. In addition, the aging treatment is a treatment for increasing the hardness by keeping it at room temperature or higher for a long time in order to stabilize the unstable property caused by rapid cooling.
【0002】[0002]
従来アルミニウム等の金属を加熱処理する場合には、処理物をトレーまたはバ スケットにのせて、プッシャーで水平に押して、連続的に処理する水平式連続炉 が一般的であった。 Conventionally, in the case of heat-treating metals such as aluminum, a horizontal continuous furnace was generally used in which a treated material is placed on a tray or a basket and horizontally pushed by a pusher to continuously treat the material.
【0003】[0003]
The problem to be solved by the present invention is that in the conventional horizontal continuous furnace, heat loss at the opening of the furnace is large when the processed material is taken in and out, and it takes too long to cool the water, resulting in uniform characteristics. There is a drawback that it is difficult to give a value. Furthermore, in the case of a horizontal continuous furnace, it was a drawback that it required a vast installation site.

▲ That is, in order to solve the above problems, the present invention installs a vertical chain conveyor in the furnace, loads the processed material from the bottom of the furnace, raises it with the chain conveyor, and reverses and lowers it at the top. The feature is a vertical furnace structure that can be carried out from the processed material at the bottom of the furnace. The heat loss from the opening can be minimized by making the opening for loading and unloading the processed material at the bottom of the furnace, and the solution treatment process and the aging treatment process can be performed continuously in a line. Space saving. ▲

FIG. 1 is a sectional view ▲ of a furnace showing an embodiment according to the present invention. The figure shows a furnace that performs solution treatment and aging treatment continuously. The solution treatment furnace is on the right of the figure, and the aging treatment furnace is on the left of the figure. ▲ In this equipment, the basket 1 containing the processed material loaded from the bottom of the furnace on the right side of the figure is conveyed upward by the ascending conveyor 3 in the furnace. It reverses and descends at the top of the furnace and is carried out from the bottom outlet 13 of the furnace. The processed material that has undergone solution treatment is cooled by a cooling elevator -7 and sent to an aging treatment furnace. The aging treatment furnace has the same structure as that of the solution heat treatment furnace, and it raises and lowers the processed material and carries it out from the bottom of the furnace. ▲ This furnace has an attachment that suspends baskets on the chain conveyor, and has a structure that continuously or intermittently suspends the baskets of the processed objects that are loaded from outside the furnace. it can. ▲ FIG. 2 shows an example of a conventional horizontal continuous type solution treatment furnace and aging treatment furnace. The processed product (1) is placed on a tray and is pushed by a pusher from the left side of the drawing to be conveyed, and a predetermined heat treatment is performed. ▲

A tower type chain conveyor furnace according to the present invention was manufactured, and aluminum product JIS AC8A was subjected to solution treatment and aging treatment, and the variation of Brinell hardness (HB) of the aluminum product at that time was examined. As a result, the Brinell hardness (HB) was in the range of 105 to 110. Similarly, when the Brinell hardness (HB) of the aluminum product treated in the conventional horizontal continuous type solution treatment furnace and aging treatment furnace was examined, it was 100 to 110. From this fact, it was found that the use of the furnace of the present invention reduced the product variation and made it uniform. Also, the occupied floor area of the furnace is about 1/3 that of the conventional horizontal continuous furnace.
