Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily prevent the ground of an unpaved outdoor rearing place for cattle to become muddy by extending a net material on the ground without embedding the material in soil. CONSTITUTION:A net material is extended on an unpaved outdoor rearing place for cattle without embedding the material in soil. The kneading of the soil by the hoof of the cattle is prevented and the rain water and urine are permeated into the ground by this structure. The net material is preferably a plastic net 2 extended on an expanded metal 1.

2. Description of the Related Art In livestock farming, it is common practice to raise livestock outdoors in order to exercise the livestock or feed the livestock. If paving with concrete or asphalt is not used for outdoor feeding places, the soil will become mud due to the hoofing of livestock and the clogging of soil due to the mixing of feces.

As a result, there are the following adverse effects. As the degree of mudification increases during and after rainfall,
The outdoor breeding area becomes unusable. Due to mudification, the limbs of livestock are buried in the soil, making them unable to move normally. Livestock gets dirty due to the adhesion of mud. Increasing incidence of hoof disease because the hoof is constantly moist.

When the farming place is paved with concrete or asphalt as described above, or when the soil is hardened by using a soil hardening agent, the surface of the farming place becomes hard, and It becomes slippery. Further, the hard surface of the ground adversely affects the limbs of the livestock, and the slipperiness of the ground causes accidents such as the livestock falling and being injured. Further, when paving with concrete or asphalt or solidifying with a soil hardening agent, evaporation of water from the ground surface is suppressed, so that the ground surface temperature rises in the summer and reflection becomes stronger. In addition, the use of concrete, asphalt, or a soil hardening agent requires a large amount of cost, and when it is necessary to move a livestock raising place, it is necessary to newly construct the moving place.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention is to spread a net material on the ground surface so as not to be buried in the soil in a livestock breeding place where the paving is not performed outdoors. The feature is that the soil is prevented from being repelled by the hoofs of livestock, and water such as rainwater and urine of livestock penetrates underground to prevent the soil from becoming mud.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be specifically described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. First, in carrying out the method for preventing mud formation of the present invention, the following points were considered. Spreading a tough net material on the ground surface to retain some of the softness of the soil of the outdoor livestock farm. The net material creates irregularities on the surface, making it difficult for livestock to slip. Since the material used is a net material, the evaporation of water from the ground surface is not suppressed, and the rise in ground surface temperature should be suppressed even in the summer.

To apply a net material that is generally used for civil engineering and construction as it is, and enable a cheaper construction as compared with paving with concrete or asphalt or solidification with a soil hardening agent. When it becomes necessary to move livestock farms, it will be possible to move the net material so that it is not necessary to purchase new material. To protect the ground surface from hoofing by livestock hoofs,
Distribute the load from the hoofs of livestock to the ground. Therefore, use a material that has some degree of planar rigidity.

From the above points, in the method of the present invention, expanded metal 1 is adopted as the net material for dispersing the load by the hoofs of livestock as shown in FIG. The expanded metal 1 is a material generally used for civil engineering and construction, and various rigid materials are in circulation. In making the selection, the expanded metal 1 had a smaller mesh than the hoof of the livestock, and the rigidity was determined in consideration of the weight of the livestock and the bearing capacity of the construction site. Further, since the expanded metal 1 also has toughness, even if it is spread on the ground surface, it does not become a hard state in which it is not deformed at all like pavement made of concrete or asphalt.

However, since the expanded metal 1 is made of iron, there is a possibility that the hoofs of the livestock will be damaged if the livestock is directly cultivated on it. Therefore, a plastic net 2 is provided on the expanded metal 1 to protect the hoof by acting as a cushioning material between the expanded metal 1 and the hoof.
(Specifically, what is called geotextile) is expanded. The plastic net 2 is selected to have a small mesh and a high shielding rate so that the hoofs of livestock and the expanded metal 1 do not come into direct contact with each other.

About 300 cows were passed through this passage. The degree of mudification in the area where the net material was not spread was measured by conducting a penetration test with a cone penetrometer. Penetration resistance 5kgf / cm 2
(Estimated maximum mean hoof pressure of cows when walking) The thickness of the layers below was defined as the mud depth. The depth of the deposit on the net material was measured for the sections where the net materials 1 and 2 were spread. Saturated hydraulic conductivity was measured by sampling soil at the center of the passage at the start of the experiment, and at the end of the experiment in the sections in which the mesh materials 1 and 2 were spread and in the sections not.

In the area where the net materials 1 and 2 were not spread, the average size was about 9 cm and the maximum size was about 2 Ocm when about 100 days passed. In the area where the method was carried out, the deposit, which was a mixture of soil and feces on the material, was about 3 cm at the maximum, and the deposit was dry except immediately after rainfall.

That is, in the area where the present method was carried out, mud formation hardly occurred. Even when paving with concrete or asphalt, it is unavoidable that feces and soil accumulate on the surface. In this method, since the net materials 1 and 2 are slightly floating above the ground surface, it is presumed that the sediment will dry faster than pavement. Furthermore, the saturated hydraulic conductivity of the surface soil of the plot where this method was applied did not decrease.

As described above, according to the method for preventing mud formation in a livestock raising place of the present invention, the net materials 1 and 2 are spread on the ground surface so as not to be buried in the soil, and the soil due to the hoofs of the livestock It prevents rebound and prevents water such as rainwater and urine of livestock from penetrating underground to prevent mud from soil, so soil can be removed by conventional pavement using concrete or asphalt, or soil hardening agents. Compared with the method of hardening, it becomes possible to easily and inexpensively prevent the mud in the livestock feeding place. Further, when it becomes necessary to move the livestock raising place, the same mud prevention effect can be obtained even at a new livestock raising place by moving the net materials 1 and 2. In addition, the outdoor breeding area can be used at all times, and the livestock can be exercised normally because the limbs of the livestock are not buried in the soil due to mudification. Therefore, the occurrence of hoof disease is suppressed.
