PURPOSE:To improve workability of end forming wherein an end opening of a hollow sealing part of a weatherstrip is worked by squashing. CONSTITUTION:A hotmelt type adhesive 5 is stuck to a surface of a heated metal sheet 7 and fused. The metal sheet 7 which is covered with the fused adhesive 5 is inserted into an end opening 321 of a hollow sealing part 32 of a weatherstrip. While an end of the sealing part 32 are being pushed from up and down with metal molds 6A, 6B so as to pinch the metal sheet 7, the metal sheet 7 is extracted. The end of the sealing part 32 is fusion welded via a fusing adhesive 5 to be closed.
