当接した状態で位置規制される。この場合規制ローラ4
2Aを固定ローラとする事により精度良い現像ギャップ
調整が可能であるが、例えば必要に応じて規制ローラ4
2Aを垂直方向に前後に移動させて現像ギャップXを調
整した後、不図示の固定手段により固定する。又前記一
の固定ローラ41を、露光ヘッド2を支持する支持枠2

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 現像剤を担持させた現像スリーブを、露
光ヘッドを内挿した感光体ドラムと対峙させ、露光とほ
ぼ同時若しくはその直後に現像を行ないながら画像形成
を行なう画像形成装置において、 前記現像スリーブと感光体ドラムの対峙空間上に現像位
置を挟んで軸直角断面上に一対の支持ローラ(以下規制
ローラという)を配設し、該一対の規制ローラに夫々前
記現像スリーブと感光体ドラムの外周面を接触させて前
記両部材間の間隔保持を行なうと共に、前記一対の規制
ローラを少なくともスリーブ軸心とドラム軸心を結ぶ線
方向に移動規制しつつ、該規制ローラの作用方向と反対
方向に作用する一又は複数の支持ローラを前記感光体ド
ラムの外周面側若しくは内周面側に当接させ、前記感光
体ドラムを前記支持ローラ群にて回転可能に支持させた
事を特徴とする画像形成装置。
