In the prior art of FIGS. 3 to 5, if a driving body such as a solenoid switch is used to slide the pair of connectors A and C, a driving body is required for each pair. As the number of connectors A and C increases, the number of drivers also increases, which complicates the structure of the optical switch and increases the size of the optical switch, resulting in high cost.

As shown in FIG. 2, the optical switch of the present invention exposes the end portion 3 of the optical fiber 2 from which the coating of the end portion of the optical fiber core wire 1 has been removed to the joint end surface 4. The two connectors 5, 6 mounted on the connector 5 and 6 are made to face each other with their joint end faces 4 butted against each other, and the positioning pin 9 is placed in any one of the two or more pin insertion holes 7, 8 formed in the respective connectors 5, 6. Is inserted, the optical fibers 2 of either of the connectors 5 and 6 are connected to each other, the positioning pin 9 is removed from the pin insertion hole, and the other switching pin 10 is inserted into the other pin insertion hole.
When the connector is inserted, both connectors 5 and 6 relatively move to the optical fiber 2.
In the optical switch 11 that is slid in the arrangement direction to switch the connection of the optical fibers 2 attached to both connectors 5 and 6, two or more optical switches 11 are arranged in parallel as shown in FIG. When the positioning pin 9 of each optical switch 11 is connected by the support tool 12 and the positioning pin 10 is connected by the support tool 13, and the support tools 12, 13 are pushed and pulled back by the driving body 14, the positioning pin 9 of each optical switch 11, 10 is capable of being inserted into and removed from the pin insertion holes 7 and 8 at the same time.

In the optical switch according to the present invention, when the support 12 on the right side of FIG. 1 is pushed to the left side of FIG. 1 by one driving body 14, one positioning pin 10 of two or more optical switches 11 is simultaneously inserted into the pin insertion holes. 8, the positioning pin 9 connected to the support tool 12 is pushed into the pin insertion hole 7 at the same time to be inserted, and conversely, the drive tool 14 moves the support tool 12 on the right side of FIG. To the right side of the pin insertion hole 7
The positioning pin 9 that has been inserted into the pin insertion hole 7 is removed from the pin insertion hole 7, and the positioning pin 10 supported by the left support 13 is simultaneously drawn into and inserted into the pin insertion hole 8. Therefore, one driver 14 slides the connectors 5 and 6 of the two or more optical switches 11 to switch the connection of the core wire 2.
