Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of producing a grounding sole and the durability thereof by softening unvulcanized rubber by the pressure of an upper mold and heating and letting the same flow in projection-like recesses through communication holes of the microdiameter in an intermediate mold to be closely connected to the main body on a lower mold. CONSTITUTION:The main body 8 of a grounding sole formed by cutting a nonwoven fabric or the like in a grounding sole shape and applying an adhesive to the outer surface thereof is placed on the top surface 6 of a lower mold (c). Subsequently, the lower surface of an intermediate mold (b) is superposed on the lower mold (c) to clamp the main body 8. Unvulcanized rubber 10 is stored in a recess 2 of the intermediate mold (b), and an upper mold (a) is superposed thereon to cover the rubber, so that the unvulcanized rubber 10 is heated and pressed to be softened by the projecting part 1 of the upper mold. Whereupon, most of the rubber is pushed out into the respective projection-like recesses 4 through the respective small recesses 3 and the respective communicating holes 5 to closely adhere onto the main body 8 of the grounding sole so that the unvulcanized rubber in the projection-like recesses 4 and the adhesive are vulcanized and hardened together to be united in a body. When the upper mold (a) and subsequently the intermediate mold (b) are removed, surplus amount of vulcanized rubber connected in the recess 2 of the intermediate mold (b) and the small recesses 3 and the communicating holes 5 is simply separated from the projection 5 of the grounding sole at the edge of the communicating hole 5.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a method of manufacturing a sole in which projections of polyurethane elastomer are integrally bonded to a non-woven sheet in order to manufacture a sole of athletic shoes mainly for racing,
For example, Japanese Patent Application No. 63-14072 relating to the applicant's patent application
There is an invention related to No. 9. According to such a manufacturing method, a liquid polyurethane composition is poured and filled into a lower mold which is a mold for manufacturing shoes, and then a nonwoven fabric sheet having a polyurethane coating layer is placed and sandwiched by a lid mold and heated. The desired sole is obtained by applying pressure. However, according to this manufacturing method, when the protrusions of polyurethane were bonded to the nonwoven sheet, it was necessary to apply a coating layer of polyurethane to the nonwoven sheet in advance in order to strengthen the bonding force. The coating work is extremely complicated, and variations occur depending on the skill level of the work, and partially incompletely bonded portions may occur, resulting in a defect that the quality is not constant. Further, since the nonwoven fabric sheet may be hardened and brittle by heating, there is also a step of aging the shoe sole once taken out from the mold for a certain period of time at a proper temperature, as a method of gently promoting crosslinking. However, according to this manufacturing method, there is a defect that the aging takes a considerably long time, the productivity is remarkably deteriorated, and the mass production is difficult.

EXAMPLE A typical example of a molding die A according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The molding die A is composed of an upper die a, a middle die b and a lower die c as shown in FIG. The upper mold a has the middle mold b on the lower surface side.
A convex portion 1 for pressing a predetermined amount of unvulcanized rubber 10 accommodated in the recess 2 is formed so as to project downward. Next, the middle die b is opened upward on the upper surface side thereof, and the upper die a
Is formed with recesses 2 into which the required amount of the unvulcanized rubber 10 is accommodated and which is also mounted on the lower surface side of the plurality of projections 7, 7 ... The projection-shaped recesses 4, 4, ... Are formed at corresponding portions, and the small recesses 3, 3, ... Are similarly formed at portions of the recess 2 that correspond to the respective projection-shaped depressions 4, 3. Further, communication holes 5, 5, ... Having a small diameter are formed to connect the small recesses 3 and the protrusion-shaped recesses 4 with each other. Each communication hole 5
Here, in order to easily remove the excess amount of vulcanized rubber, it is desirable to use a small diameter, but if it is too small, unvulcanized rubber 10 flows from each small recess 3 into each projection-shaped recess 4. If it is too large, it is difficult to cut and remove it here,
Then, as a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the diameter is preferably 1.0 to 1.5 mm and the length is 1 mm or less. Further, the lower mold c forms an upper surface 6 on which the main body of the grounding bottom on the upper surface side is to be placed. In addition, the upper surface 6 has a grounded bottom-shaped expansion including the protrusion-shaped depressions 4 of the middle die b.

Having excellent wear resistance, which are non-slip on the main body 8 thereof, and can be clearly and accurately formed. Since it is closely attached to, it can be offered for racing and with high commercial value. In addition, each of the communication holes 5 with a small diameter of the medium die b
Accordingly, each protrusion 5 on the grounding surface A side, each small recess 3 that becomes an extra amount, and the convex portion 1 of the upper mold a continuous with this and the above-mentioned middle mold b
Since the rubber formed between the recesses 2 can be easily cut and removed, the production efficiency can be extremely increased and the production cost can be reduced. Further, the protrusions or grooves 22 formed in the recess 2 of the middle die b and the grooves or protrusions 11 formed in the convex portion 1 of the upper die c facing the protrusions or grooves 22 are fitted and coupled to each other to form a plurality of different or different colors. Since the vulcanized rubbers 101 and 102 can be partitioned, a plurality of different or different-colored vulcanized rubber projections 7, 7, ... Can be formed at a predetermined portion on the main body 8. Therefore, it is possible to contribute to the provision of the ground contact bottom B having a good appearance, and further,
Since the main body 8 of the grounding bottom B can be placed on the base 61 of the upper surface 6 of the lower mold C by sandwiching it or the main body 8 of the grounding bottom B can be fitted and supported in the shallow recess 62, the main body 8 can be supported. It could be reliably supported and contributed to the provision of the desired ground contact bottom B.
