CONSTITUTION:A circuit breaker is provided with a breaker case 1A composed of a base 1a and a main cover 1c fixed to the base 1a and also containing a breaking mechanism, a recess 11 formed on a face 101 opposite to the base 1a of the main cover 1c so as to contain the auxiliary device of the breaking mechanism, and an auxiliary cover 12 fitted to the main cover 1c so as to block the recess 11. Exhaust paths 14-17 are formed between the main cover 1c and the auxiliary cover 12 so as to discharge the exhaust of an arc-extinguish chamber 6 to a load side.
