Traditionally, desks are often placed under the window for writing. For such a writing window, a sliding window that is easy to open and close when a desk is placed near the window is used. Also, it is often used as a bay window. Looking at the outside world through a window is an effective way to relieve fatigue from work, and it is good that there is no obstruction in the field of view.
However, in these windows, the frame of the window shoji comes into view. If this is avoided and the window is fitted and killed, ventilation will not be possible. A bookcase is required for writing, and a bookcase that stores frequently used books and materials is placed near the desk. Such bookshelves at hand conventionally have a bookcase or the like, but they require an indoor space and are not suitable in terms of interior design. Therefore, some bookshelves are incorporated as unit furniture to obtain a good design solution. However, the structure of the unit furniture uses all or most of the windowless wall of the room, and if a desk is placed in front of the bookcase of the unit furniture, the lighting will be lit.

Placing a desk in front of or near the window gives good daylight and a good field of view, but at night it is not a good idea to counter the darkness through the glass. That is, it goes against the person's defense instinct. The structure of the projecting tip of the bay window (hereinafter referred to as the bay window end) is not normally provided with a shutter door or the like having a function of shutting off from the outside, but as with a door pocket attached to the outside of the bay window There is a bay window with a door pocket protruding to the outside.
However, the appearance is not good, and even if the outside can be seen through the glass when viewed from the inside of the room, the side of the door pocket on both sides of the opening obstructs the view.

Traditionally, aluminum sash bay windows are made of wood for the top plate, bottom plate, and side plates of the openings, and are cut into pieces to match the upper frame, lower frame, and vertical frame of the sash, which are used as bay windows. The top plate, base plate, and side plates are fixed and attached to the opening frame to form a four-way assembly.

In the conventional aluminum sash bay window, even though the bay window end and the roof part are made of aluminum sash metal, the side plates and the main plate of the wooden frame are exposed to the outside. In addition to the one in which the side plate and the base plate are exposed as described above, there is also one in which the side plate, the base plate, and the top plate are covered from the outside by an aluminum die-cast member to increase the durability. However, such exposed wooden parts are not durable, and those that cover the outer periphery of the bay window with aluminum die-cast members are expensive. Also, in the case where the aluminum sash frame at the bay window end and the side part of the outer periphery between the building frames are joined by separate members, there is a seam between the aluminum sash frame at the bay window end and these separate members, so raining is difficult and the appearance is also poor. not good.

Conventionally, a blind is attached to the inside of the exit window, but the blind box is exposed above the exit window. Alternatively, even in a normal window, there is a blind box in which a blind groove is provided in the upper wall so that the blind box is housed in the groove, but the opening end of the blind groove is considerably larger than the width of the blind box. Because of this, when looking up with the blinds down, there was a large mouth above and it was unsightly. The reason for this is that the groove having a square cross section is provided with a width required for mounting the blind box.
