Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a protective woven fabric and protective garment for protecting the body from bullets, debris from debris and the like. [0002] [Prior Art] A conventional protective garment is made by weaving high-strength synthetic fibers, inorganic fibers, and the like separately, and stacking the woven fabrics. Some were made on top of the other. [0003] [Problems to be solved by the invention] However, the above methods have drawbacks in that the manufacturing process is complicated and the cost is increased because protective sheets made of different materials are stacked. [0004] An object of the present invention is to produce a uniform protective sheet and facilitate the production of protective garments. [Means for Solving the Problems] The characteristic structure of the protective woven fabric of the present invention is to bundle high-tensile metal thin wires and high-tensile synthetic fibers,
Or it is made by weaving with twisted yarn,
A characteristic configuration of the protective garment of the present invention is that the protective woven fabric is sewn in a single layer or in a plurality of layers sewn, and the effects thereof are as follows. [Operation] That is, the finer the metal wire or synthetic fiber, the more flexible it is. Since ultra-high-strength fine metal wires and synthetic fibers have already been developed, the yarns that are bundled or twisted in appropriate proportions are woven by existing weaving techniques to obtain a protective woven fabric. By sewing a protective garment with this protective woven fabric, the protective woven fabric has a fine metal wire having extremely high breaking strength and a large specific gravity, such as a rope, and a synthetic fiber having a very large breaking strength and a small specific gravity, for example. An extremely homogeneous material can be obtained because the high-strength polyarylate fibers are bundled or twisted with each other to form a yarn and woven into a woven fabric. Also, by changing the thickness of each thin metal wire and synthetic fiber, and the blending ratio, flexibility,
Breathability, specific gravity and breaking strength can be freely selected, and a homogeneous sheet can be obtained as a whole. Also, weaving is possible by the current weaving technology, and even when the protective garment is sewn, it is technically easy because it does not require processing such as making holes or cutting in the plate-shaped body as in the conventional case. Next, comparing the case where one thick rod and a group of thin wires having the same cross-sectional area were respectively impacted by bullets etc., one thick rod caused stress concentration in the damaged part. , It is easy to break, but even if a part of the aggregate of fine wires breaks or expands due to impact, the stress is dispersed in the other part and the original strength is intact,
It does not break below the average strength due to stress concentration. That is, a large breaking strength can be obtained as compared with the weight. [0006] Taking a bullet as an example, the mass of the bullet ...
m, velocity at impact ... V, mass of the portion displaced together with the impacted bullet ... m ', average velocity of displacement on the left ... V'
Since MV = m′V ′ and the larger m ′ is, the smaller V ′ is and the smaller the impact is, the larger the average specific gravity of the bulletproof garment is, the larger the sheet portion that is displaced with the bullet without breaking is V ′. Becomes smaller. [0007] That is, even synthetic fibers having strength not to be broken by bullets have a small specific gravity, so that the displacement speed and the displacement amount are likely to be large and injure the human body. The specific gravity of the cloth is preferably large, and according to the present invention, the specific gravity can be adjusted by increasing the mixing ratio of the high-strength fine metal wires. Naturally, by stacking multiple sheets, it is possible to reduce the impact. [0008] Further, the present invention can be used not only as a bulletproof device but also as a protection against a weapon such as a knife and a protection from a hit or an explosive substance. [0009] [Effect of the invention] Therefore, as a protective woven fabric, homogeneous and
Break strength, specific gravity, breathability, flexibility, etc. can be freely determined, and existing weaving and sewing techniques can be used to easily obtain high-grade protective clothing. Simple manufacturing and excellent protective performance are cost effective. Can be provided. [Examples] Next, examples of the present invention will be described. A high-strength thin metal wire and high-tensile synthetic fibers are bundled or woven with twisted yarns to form a bulletproof woven fabric, and the woven fabric is sewed in a single layer or in a plurality of layers to form a protective garment. . The high-strength metal fine wire is made of ultra-high-strength metal ultrafine wire (trade name "Super Fine Metal") developed at Kobe Steel, and can be manufactured up to a thickness of 15 microns, and its tensile strength is 500 kg. / Mm 2 is reached. The high-strength synthetic fiber is a high-strength polyarylate fiber (trade name "Vectran") developed by Kuraray Co., Ltd., which has a tensile strength of 368 Kg / mm 2 and a breaking elongation of 3.9%. It has excellent properties such as creep, aging, and cutting resistance. [0010] Further, the aramid fiber having a diameter of 12μ is used as the high-tension synthetic fiber, and the superfine metal fine wire having a diameter of 20μ is used as the high-tensile metal fine wire. .8, apparent tensile strength of about 400 Kg / mm 2 , fully utilizing the characteristics of resin such as impact resistance, vibration damping and cutting resistance, and good dimensional stability. It is possible to obtain a protective woven cloth having a high toughness by keeping the size of the protective cloth small and keeping it appropriately. In addition, the woven fabric and garment of the present invention, in addition to bulletproof,
It is widely used for protection against general dangerous goods. Further, the high-strength metal thin wire and the high-strength synthetic fiber of the present invention are not limited to the above materials, and various kinds can be used as long as they have high breaking strength.
