Description of the Related Art For example, in a hot strip rolling mill, a strip is passed through a heating furnace, a rough rolling mill, a delay table, a finishing rolling mill, a cooling device, etc. to perform rolling treatment in a predetermined cycle. .. Then, the rolled hot strip is wound around the mandrel of the coiler as a coil. At this time, since the mandrel has a relatively low temperature, in order to prevent local deterioration of the metal structure due to local rapid cooling of the leading end portion of the strip, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No.
As disclosed in JP-A-49335, a heating device is externally inserted into the inner peripheral portion of the mandrel to heat the mandrel from the inside in advance, or as disclosed in JP-B-61-35292. A heating device is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the mandrel so that the starting end portion is directly heated during winding.

Since the equipment is complicated, the entire apparatus tends to be complicated and large, and the equipment cost thereof tends to rise. Further, it is necessary to secure a working time and a heating time for inserting / removing the heating device into / from the inner peripheral portion of the mandrel, which causes a problem that productivity is lowered.

In order to compensate for the amount of heat taken from the starting end portion of the strip by the winding device, the starting end portion is preheated before winding by a strip heating device provided in the preceding stage of the winding device. It is achieved by providing a strip winding method.

A slab is supplied from the entrance of this equipment, heated in a heating furnace 1, then subjected to horizontal rolling and edging in a rough rolling mill 2, and heated to a finish rolling temperature in a delay table 3 as a rough bar. Then, after being rolled by the finish rolling mill 4 and cooled to an appropriate temperature by the cooling device 5, the winder 6 is used as a hot strip.
It is wound around the mandrel 7 as a coil. A plurality of mandrels 7 are arranged in series in the winder 6, and one mandrel 7 winds the coil and at the same time removes the coil from the other mandrel 7.

At this time, when it is detected that the starting end of the strip has passed through the sensor 9, the heating device 8 is activated to heat the starting end portion of the strip to a predetermined temperature (heat amount). Therefore, the mandrel 7 before winding is at a relatively low temperature, and a certain amount of heat is taken from the starting end portion of the strip to the mandrel 7, but since the amount of heat for that amount is compensated by the heating device 8 in advance, The temperature is uniform over the entire strip, and there is no risk of partial deterioration.

本発明の効果は大である。As is apparent from the above description, according to the strip winding method of the present invention, the strip winding device is provided at the front stage of the winding device so as to compensate the amount of heat taken from the starting end portion of the strip by the winding device. By heating the starting end portion in advance with a simple structure having only a heating device for the strip before winding, even if heat is taken from the starting end portion by the winding device, the entire strip has a uniform temperature. Therefore, it is possible to suitably prevent the deterioration of the starting end portion at the time of winding the hot strip without complicating the equipment of the winding device, increasing the cost, and decreasing the line productivity. From the above, the effect of the present invention is great.
