Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily obtain a void length which is needed by a linear motor, by providing a rolling part diameter of a rolling member stepwise. CONSTITUTION:A recessed groove is provided at the left and right of a stator 4, a rolling receiving member 3-1 is provided at this groove, and a rolling member 5 which is retained by a rolling retention member 2 is mounted on it, thus enabling the movable element 1 to be slid. For obtaining a needed void length 6 between the movable element 1 and the stator 4, a rolling part diameter which becomes a basis of the rolling member 5 is provided stepwise and confirmation of the void length 6 which is needed in combination selectively is performed by a shim (thin plate). If no needed void length 6 can be obtained, rearrangement is performed. In this case, the rolling part diameter of the rolling member 5 is classified in stages according to a color or a mark of the rolling- retention member 3-1 and the rolling member 5 with a proper color matching is selected, thus obtaining the needed void length 6. The stator 1 is formed by mold forming and scattering according to a mold is measured previously for a plurality of molds, thus obtaining the needed void length 6 according to combination of the rolling member 5 which matches the mold.

In the above-mentioned conventional linear motor, there is a method for adjusting the gap length by providing a gap adjusting plate having a stepwise thickness under the rolling receiving member to obtain a required gap length. However, since the gap adjusting plate is thin, the height changes due to deformation, the parallelism of the mover changes, and the characteristics deteriorate, and it takes time to correct this. Further, as another adjusting method, a method of obtaining a required void length with a void adjusting screw has a drawback that the height is changed due to loosening of the screw to deteriorate the characteristics and it takes time to correct.

According to the method for adjusting the gap length of a linear motor of the present invention, a rolling receiving member for supporting a rolling member for supporting and movably supporting a movable element is provided on a stator, and In a linear motor that does not have a gap adjusting function with the stator, it is necessary to gradually provide the rolling portion diameter of the rolling member provided corresponding to the predicted adjustment range and selectively use the rolling member. It is characterized by obtaining a wide void length.

In this embodiment, recessed grooves for rolling receiving members are provided on the left and right sides of the stator 4, and the rolling receiving members 3-1 are provided in the grooves.
Is a linear motor in which the rolling element 5 held by the rolling holding member 2 is placed thereon, and the mover 1 is slidable. Gap length 6 required between mover 1 and stator 4
In order to obtain the above, the diameter of the rolling portion, which is the basis of the rolling member 5, is provided in stages, and the necessary gap length is confirmed by a shim (thin plate) by selectively combining them. If the required gap length cannot be obtained, the rearrangement is performed based on the gap correction flow of FIG. At this time, the rolling portion diameter of the rolling member 5 is divided in stages according to the color or mark and shape of the rolling holding member 3-1, and an appropriate rolling member 5 of a combination is selected, and it is easily required. Can be obtained. Further, the stator 1 is formed by molding, and in the case of plural moldings, the variation due to the mold is measured in advance,
The required gap length can be easily obtained by combining the rolling members 5 suitable for the mold.

As described above, according to the present invention, by providing the rolling portion diameter of the rolling member in stages, the gap length required by the linear motor can be easily obtained, and any change or modification can be performed. Even if it does not deteriorate the parallelism of the mover, it has the effect that the required gap length can be obtained stably, and even when the stator is formed by molding, variations due to the mold are also measured during the initial measurement. It has an effect that it can be absorbed by setting the diameter stepwise.
