At the same time, a second belt conveyor 4 having a higher conveyance speed than the first belt conveyor 3 is connected to the end 3a of the first belt conveyor 3 in the direction of movement, and It is equipped with a seedling box position sensor 6 that detects the position of the front end 1a of the seedling growing box 1, and sows seeds into each vertical center hole of a large number of rectangular parallelepiped urethane foam plant cultivation units 2 packed in a grid pattern inside the seedling growing box 1. The seeding machine 5 is transferred to the second belt conveyor 4.
It is arranged so that seeds are sown into each center hole of the plant cultivation unit 2 based on the detection position of the seedling box position sensor 6.

When moving to , a gap d is always created between the seedling raising box 1 and the following one by the difference between the two conveying speeds, so that the position of the front end 1a of the seedling raising box 1 can be easily detected by the seedling growing box position sensor 6.

A plurality of seedling growing boxes 1 are arranged in series and these seedling growing boxes 1 are transported at a predetermined speed. A second belt conveyor 4 is connected to the end 3a of the first belt conveyor 3 in the traveling direction, and has a conveyance speed faster than the conveyance speed of the first belt conveyor 3.

各育苗箱1の相互の間隔はdだけ広げられる。 Therefore, the seedling growing boxes 1, 1... which are arranged in series on the first belt conveyor 3 are connected to the second belt conveyor 4.
When transferred onto the top, the seedling growing boxes 1 on the second belt conveyor 4 are conveyed faster by the speed difference between the two conveying speeds, so that the distance between the seedling growing boxes 1 on the second belt conveyor 4 is widened by d.
