Providing an appropriate friction function to the rotating part or sliding part of such a document pressure plate opening/closing device is as follows:
This has the advantage of eliminating play in the device itself, giving the operator a solid opening/closing sensation, and increasing the allowable range for stably holding the document pressure plate at an intermediate opening angle.

Conventionally, a friction member passing through the hinge pin is interposed in the overlapping part of the respective side plates of the mounting member and the support member, which are rotatably connected by a hinge pin, and the both side plates are separated by caulking one end of the hinge pin. However, it is difficult to adopt a structure in which a friction member with a hinge pin passed through is interposed in the overlapping part of the mounting member and the support member. Otherwise, it is necessary to replace undesirable structures with other means.

As another means, a structure in which a spring receiving member is slidably connected to the inside of either the mounting member that also serves as a spring case or the supporting member, is constructed by connecting both side plates of the spring receiving member and the supporting member, etc. It is known that friction members such as fibers are interposed between both side plates, but the friction function varies because it cannot sufficiently absorb the backlash between the side plates caused by material thickness errors or dimensional errors caused during processing. In addition to the disadvantage that this kind of structure tends to cause friction, there is also the disadvantage that the friction function decreases due to wear or habituation after long-term use. This was insufficient as a friction mechanism for the device.

This invention has solved this drawback, and its purpose is to provide a structure in which the friction function is obtained by a friction member acting on a spring receiving member, and the purpose of this invention is to prevent the friction from occurring on both sides due to material thickness errors or dimensional errors resulting from machining. A document crimping plate opening/closing device for a copying machine is constructed so that it can always take up the friction even in the case of play between the plates, and the friction function will not deteriorate or be damaged even after many years of use. The purpose is to provide a friction mechanism. An embodiment of this invention will be described below in detail based on an embodiment shown in the drawings.A mounting member 1 having side plates 1a, 1a is fixed to the rear upper surface of the main body A of the copying machine. At one end side of both side plates 1a and 1a of this mounting member 1, both side plates 2a and 2a of a support member 2 which also serves as a spring case are attached.
One end side is rotatably connected by a hinge pin 3. To explain the structure of this connecting part in more detail, both side plates 2a, 2 of the support member 2
As especially shown in FIG. 4, bearing members 4 and 5 made of oil-impregnated resin such as oil-impregnated polyacetal are attached to the shaft attachment point a, and the hinge pin 3 is supported by these bearing members 4 and 5. As this type of device is mounted on a bearing and is opened and closed very frequently, we are trying to prevent the bearing from wearing out and causing rattles and noises as much as possible. As particularly shown in FIG. 5, the hinge pin 3 is fixed to one of the side plates 1a, 1a of the mounting member 1. E-rings 8 and 9 are attached to the hinge pin 3 that protrudes from the side plates 2a and 2a of the support member 2 through spacers 6 and 7, and the hinge pin 3 is configured to prevent it from coming out left and right, and the hinge pin 3 is One end of is E
It protrudes further outward through the ring 9, and other devices (not shown), such as a cam, are attached to this portion.

A spring receiving member 10 is housed inside the support member 2, and one side end of both side plates 10a, 10a is connected to both side plates 1a, 1a of the mounting member 1 with a connecting pin 11.
It is connected to the hinge pin 3 at a different position. Bearing members 12 and 13 as described above are attached to the connecting portion of the spring receiving member 10 to prevent wear and noise of the connecting portion.

In particular, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the headed guide pins 20 and 21 protruding from the side plates 2a and 2a of the support member 2 are provided with the side plates 10a and 21 of the spring receiving member 10, respectively. The guide grooves 10c and 10c provided in the guide pin 10a fit together, and one of the guide grooves 10c and the head 2 of the guide pin 20 fit together.
A friction member 22 such as a fiber provided on the guide pin 20 is interposed between the guide pin 20 and the guide pin 20, and a friction member 22 such as a fiber provided on the other guide pin 21 is provided on both sides of the other guide groove 10c. A pair of friction members 23 and 24 are interposed between one of the friction members 23 and the side plate 2a of the support member 2, and a spring washer 26 is inserted through the guide pin 21 through a spacer 25. The guide groove 10c of the side plate 10a of the spring receiving member 10 is in pressure contact with the friction members 23 and 24.

When the original pressure bonding plate B is opened, the supporting member 2 rotates about the hinge pin 3 to allow the opening operation of the document pressure bonding plate B, and at the same time, the spring receiving member 10 rotates about the connecting pin 11 as a fulcrum. , guide groove 10
c, 10c are guided by guide pins 20, 21 and slide on these portions of both side portions 10a, 10a. The original pressure bonding plate B is automatically opened when the elasticity of the compression coil springs 18 and 19 starts to overcome the opening angle of approximately 45 degrees, but when it is opened approximately 65 degrees, the rear end is attached to the mounting member 1 with the screw 29. When the opened original pressure bonding plate B is closed, the support member 2 rotates in the opposite direction about the hinge pin 3 to allow the closing operation of the document pressure bonding plate B, and at the same time, the spring receiving member 10 also closes the connecting pin 11. During the closing operation, the original cover B is closed first against the elastic force of the compression coil springs 18 and 19, then by its own weight, and the compression coil springs 19 start to act in the opposite direction at an opening angle of about 5°.
The document 27 is pressed against the contact glass 28 by the elastic force of the apertures 8 and 19, which causes the document 27 to be pressed against the contact glass 28.

During the opening/closing operation of the original pressure bonding plate B, the guide grooves 10c and 10 of the spring receiving member 10 are engaged with the guide pins 20 and 21 that slide back and forth.
Since the portion c is in pressure contact with the friction members 22, 23, and 24, it frictionally controls the sliding movement of the spring receiving member 10, giving the operator a smooth opening/closing sensation, and also provides a smooth opening/closing sensation for the support member. 2, and can prevent the document pressure bonding plate B from suddenly bouncing up or falling from a certain opening angle or more. Since the portion of the side plate 10a of the spring receiving member 10 provided with the guide groove 10c is brought into pressure contact with the other friction member 24, the frictional force due to thickness errors of the constituent materials and dimensional errors caused during manufacturing and processing is reduced. It is possible to prevent variations in the frictional force as much as possible, and also to prevent this frictional force from decreasing even after many years of use.

In addition, the heads 20a, 21 of the guide pins 20, 21
a and the guide grooves 10c, 10 of the side plates 10a, 10a.
The advantage of having the friction members 22 and 24 interposed between the parts provided with c is that not only can the frictional force be increased, but also that it can prevent abnormal noises from being generated due to lack of oil, etc. However, the friction member is on the side where the spring washer is attached, and on the side plate 10.
It may be made to intervene only on one side of the part where the guide groove 10c of a is provided. Of course, both of the pair of guide pins 20 and 21 may be provided with friction means using spring washers as described above. The reason why this embodiment uses only one side is to reduce costs.
