15562号公報)に示されているように、主給湯熱
源器1と端末の給湯口2との間の配管3の途中に
保温発熱体4を内設したクツシヨンタンク5を配
置し、配管3の冷水とクツシヨンタンク5の湯を
混合させて給湯口2から流出する構成とし、給湯
口2から直接冷水が出ないようにしていた。

の近傍に端末給湯器7が連設されている。端末給

9の底部に内設し、湯温サーモ10の検出温度に
応じて湯温コントローラ11でヒータ入力を制御
することによつて、予め定めた高温を維持してい
る。この貯湯槽9の下端には入水口12、上端に
は出湯口13を設け、入水口12近傍には給湯配
管3と水道水を供給する給水管14とを切替える
切替え弁である3方弁15が連設されている。す
なわち、3方弁15により給湯配管3からの湯か
給水管14からの水を選択的に貯湯槽9に供給す
る。出湯口13は、給湯口2の逆止弁16と混合
水栓17に連設されている。一方、給水管14
は、水道管18より主給湯熱源器1と給湯口2と
に水道水を供給する給水回路19に接続されてい
る。この給水回路19は給湯口2の逆止弁20と
混合水栓17に連設されている。第3図は3方弁
15の実施例を示した断面図である。ここで、2
1がハウジングで、給湯配管3とつながる湯入口
22から貯湯槽9へつながる出口23へ流れる通
路と、給水管14とつながる入水口24から出口
23へ流れる通路があり、このふたつの通路を切
替えるボール弁体25が湯入口22と水入口24
と出口23との交点に設けられている。このボー
ル弁体25は弁軸26が接合されており、操作レ
バー27によりボール弁体25を回転させ通路を
切替える。以上の構成において、湯を連続して使
う場合は、操作レバー27を操作して3方弁15
により給湯配管3と貯湯槽9を連通させ、使い始
めは貯湯槽9の湯を給湯口2へ供給し、給湯配管
3の冷水は貯湯槽9の湯を押上げる働きをする。
やがて主給湯熱源器1の湯が貯湯槽9へ到達する
と、湯と水の比重差により対流が起こり水温が上
昇し、連続給湯できる。一方、少量の湯しか使わ
ない場合は、操作レバー27を操作して給水管1
4と貯湯槽9を連通させ、給湯配管3を閉止状態
にし、主給湯熱源器1を使わずに貯湯槽9の湯の
みで給湯を行う。このとき混合水栓17のバルブ
を調節し、任意の温度を選択することもできる。
このように、給湯開始直後より湯が得られ、少量
の湯しか使わない場合は、無駄に主給湯熱源器1
の湯を使わないので、効率がよい。

発明の効果 以上説明したように、本発明の給湯装置によれ
ば、セントラル給湯の主給湯熱源器の給湯回路に
端末給湯器を接続し、給湯熱源器からの湯と水道
水とを切替える切替え弁により選択的に端末給湯
器へ供給するものであるから、給湯口の湯栓を開
いてから湯が出るまでの時間が極めて短縮されて
使い勝手が良い。又、湯を少量しか使わない場合
に、水道水を直接端末給湯器の貯湯槽へ供給する
よう切替え弁を操作することで、端末給湯器の湯
のみで供給をおこない、主給湯熱源器の湯は使わ
ないようにできるため、無駄な配管ロスか無く経
済的である。
