め、また、前記対流が補助炎孔に接し難くするた
め、第1図に示すように補助炎孔3の下部に保炎
板4を設け上記の対策を施していた。しかし、オ
ーブングリル等のように、オーブンバーナとグリ
ルバーナの2個のバーナが設けられ、しかも同時
に燃焼しようとした場合、上記従来例の保炎板4
を設けたパイプバーナ1をグリルバーナとして使
用すると、オーブン機能を持つため加熱庫5内が
より密閉度の高い状態となつているため、グリル
用のパイプバーナ1はオーブンバーナの燃料空気
の非常に乱れた強い対流にあおられ、炎がゆらぎ
不安定となつて吹き消されてしまう。このため従
来例では、オーブングリル等のグリルバーナとし
てパイプバーナ1を使用することは不可能であつ
た。

設された前記主炎孔より径の小さい複数列の小炎
孔を配し他バーナの燃焼による対流によるあおり
の影響を受け難い短い炎を形成し吹き消え等を起
こさない安定燃焼を得る効果に加え、前記小炎孔
は対称に配された炎孔列の火移りの効果も有する
ものである。

き消してしまう。そこで、ガスバーナ5のように
保炎板4を設けることにより、前記対流が直接補
助炎孔3に接することを防止し、同時に連続的な
ガスの雰囲気を作り出す作用により補助炎孔3の
燃焼を安定化せしめるのであるが、さらに強い対
流により炎孔部の両端が燃焼立上がり時に吹き消
えしてしまうのを防止するため、炎孔両端部に第
4図、第5図のように小炎孔13を配することに
より、小炎孔13の炎が短かく対流の影響を受け
難く安定燃焼を継続するという作用により、一度
吹き消えた炎孔部に再着火を促し早く安定燃焼に
導くのである。

時に吹き消えを防止し炎孔部全体を早く安定燃焼
に至らしめる効果があると同時に、小炎孔13は
反対側に配された炎孔列の火移りの役目も有する
のである。
