[Prior art] When labeling containers such as bottles filled with contents such as beverages or medicines, or storing them in warehouses, etc., it is necessary to remove moisture such as water droplets that have adhered to the outer surface of the container during previous processes. This is necessary.

Conventionally, as a device for removing water droplets adhering to the outer surface of a container, there is a device described in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-196493, for example. Equipped with a fixed guide provided at the edge and facing the wiping member, and a flushing nozzle that injects high-pressure air toward the container, containers transported from the upstream side of the conveyor are fixed to the wiping member. The container is held between the guide and transported downstream while rotating as the wiping member rotates. During this time, the outer circumferential surface of the container comes into contact with the wiping member, and water droplets adhering to the outer surface of the container are absorbed. removed. Further, water droplets existing in the recessed portion of the upper part of the container are removed by a flushing nozzle.

However, in the conventional water droplet removal device described above, the wiping member made of a rotating body or an endless belt has a container conveying function and a rotation function, so the rotation direction of the wiping member is set in the same direction as the traveling direction of the container. Must-have. Therefore, the wiping surface of the wiping member that comes into contact with the upstream container, which has the largest amount of water droplets attached, and which contains moisture, then comes into contact with the downstream container, and the downstream container is covered with a dry wiping surface. There is a problem that the water cannot be removed completely by wiping.

In addition, since the container is held between a fixed guide and a rotating wiping member, and the container rotates as the wiping member rotates, the rotation speed is slow, and it is difficult to wipe the entire circumference of the container. However, there are problems in that it is necessary to rotate the container at least once or more, which increases the length of the fixed guide, and that the outer diameter of the wiping member increases and the wiping time increases.

Furthermore, the wiping member is formed of a rotating body, and when the wiping member is rotated at high speed, water absorbed by centrifugal force collects on the outer surface of the wiping member, making it unable to perform its wiping function adequately. Therefore, it is necessary to suppress the rotational speed of the wiping member to a predetermined speed or less, which poses a problem that increases the speed of the device.

The bottle B is conveyed to the timing screw 2 by the conveyor 1 conveyed in the direction of the arrow A.
Here, a predetermined interval is formed between the bottles B, and the bottles B are transferred to the main starwheel 5 via the inlet starwheel 3. Main star wheel 5 transported in the direction of arrow C
As a result, the bottle B is conveyed to the upstream opposite ends of the main star wheel 5 and the running belt 15. and,
The bottle B is held by the support rollers 6 and 7 of the main star wheel 5 and the running belt 15, and a rotational force is applied by the main star wheel 5 and the running belt 15 that move in opposite directions to each other, and the bottle B is rotated.
During this rotation, moisture such as water droplets adhering to the outer surface of the bottle is scraped off and removed by the wiper 9. The rotational speed of the bottle B is the sum of the conveying speed of the main star wheel 5 and the running speed of the running belt 15, V 1 +V 2 , and a high rotational speed can be obtained.

As is clear from the description of the embodiments, according to the present invention, a container is conveyed along a certain circumference by a conveying device, and a container is installed along a conveying direction of this conveying device. The conveyance device and a running belt running in the opposite direction work together to grip and rotate the container, and during this rotation, a moisture removal member provided in the container support recess of the conveyance device removes moisture adhering to the outer surface of the container. Moisture can be completely and reliably removed.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, the rotation speed is increased due to the configuration in which the bottle is rotated by the conveying device running in opposite directions and the running belt, so that it is possible to downsize the device and shorten the time required to remove water from the container. I can do it. Furthermore, since a large-diameter wiping member that would cause problems with centrifugal force is not used, the speed of the apparatus can be increased.
