や、書体変換等の処理を行う際、原文字パターン
の心線パターンを抽出したい場合がある。 従来、このような文字やその他図形のパターン
の心線パターンの抽出は、単純に細線化処理を原
パターンに施すことによつて達成していた。な

線化−整形・太線化−細線化の処理を行い、その
結果に更にスムージング処理を施すことにより、
原画像パターンの心線パターンを抽出する。以
下、本発明の実施例につき図面を用いて詳述す
る。 第1図は本発明による心線パターン抽出処理の
流れ図である。各処理ステツプについて順に説明
