Mischiefs have occurred in which bills are pulled out of the sorting device by pulling the edges. Therefore, if the sorting device is installed in a vending machine, products will be fraudulently acquired, and if it is installed in a money exchange machine, money will be fraudulently acquired. For this reason, recently, Jikko 57-
As disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 56294, a blocking section having a finger section that moves in and out of the banknote conveyance path when driven by a solenoid is provided near the insertion opening, and when the banknote passes through a position corresponding to the finger section. The fingers protrude into the passage, and the fingers prevent the bill from being pulled out. However, this type of conventional extraction prevention device has the disadvantage that the tape attached to the banknote can be easily removed by making the position of the tape correspond to the position of the finger protruding into the passage.

Since the detection roller continues to rotate due to the tape, the length dimension detected by the detection roller is longer than the predetermined length of the banknote, and the identification circuit determines that the inserted banknote is inappropriate. Even if it is removed, there will be no damage.

1 is a banknote insertion slot, which extends upward from the banknote insertion slot 1 and communicates with a banknote conveyance path 2 that extends downward in a hairpin curve shape.
Reference numeral 3 denotes a drive roller that is supported by the output shaft 5 of the deceleration motor 4, and an endless belt 8 is stretched between the drive roller 3 and the guide rollers 6 and 7. 9, 10, 11, 12,
13 is a roller arranged to rotate as the belt 8 moves. Therefore, the bill inserted into the insertion slot 1 is sandwiched between the rollers 9 and the belt 8 and taken into the passage 2, and then conveyed through the passage 2 while being sandwiched between the rollers 10, 11, 12, 13 and the belt 8. Ru. The passage 2 is equipped with an optical detector 14 which is a first detector from the insertion opening 1 side, a solenoid 16 having a stopper 15 that appears and retracts in the passage 2, and a detection roller 17a rotated by the banknotes being conveyed. A detection device 17 that detects the rotation of the detection roller 17a through a number of slits 17b opened in the detection roller 17a with an optical detector (not shown) and outputs a pulse to detect the length of the bill; A detection head 18 for detecting a pattern, a first blocking member 19 and a second blocking member 20 that are controlled to appear and disappear within the passageway 2, and an optical detector 21 as a second detector are respectively provided. The first blocking member 19 and the second blocking member 20 are independently rotatably supported at their upper ends, and a recess 23 in which blocking parts 19a and 20a are formed in the passage 2 by a spring 22 having extremely weak elasticity.
It is in contact with the Reference numeral 24 designates a solenoid whose upper end is connected to a rotatable movable member 25, which controls a control member 26 connected to the lower end of the movable member 25 and supported so as to be movable in the left-right direction against the elasticity of a spring 27, as shown in FIG. This is to move it in the direction of arrow D. The control member 26 includes a first blocking member 19 and a second blocking member 20.
Control portions 26a and 26b are provided correspondingly, respectively, and the control portions 26a and 26b are brought into contact with the first blocking member 19 and the second blocking member 20 when moving in the direction of arrow D in FIG. The first blocking member 19 and the second blocking member 20 are brought into contact with each other to move the blocking portions 19a and 20a of the blocking members 19 and 20 to the outside of the passage 2. Additionally, an optical detector 28 is located corresponding to the lower end of the first blocking member 19.
is provided, and the first blocking member 19 is in a state where the blocking portion 19a of the first blocking member 19 is separated from the inside of the recess 23.
the lower end of which activates the optical detector 28. Further, the second blocking member 20 is connected to the detection roller 17.
The detector 21 is located on the same line of banknote transport as the first blocking member 19, and the detector 21 is located on the same line of banknote transport as the first blocking member 19. When a banknote is inserted from the insertion slot 1, the first detector 14 detects the banknote and operates the solenoids 16 and 24, allowing the stopper 15, the first blocking member 19, and the second blocking member 20 to pass. 2 to the outside to open the passage, and at the same time, the motor 4 is driven. As a result, the banknote is conveyed through the passage 2, and the length of the banknote, magnetic pattern, etc. are determined. The length of the banknote is determined by a detection device 17 consisting of a detection roller 17a rotated by the banknote, and the pulse output generated by the rotation is introduced into an identification circuit (not shown) to determine the appropriate length of the banknote being transported. The banknote type is identified, and if the banknote is determined to be inappropriate, the motor 4 rotates in reverse to return the banknote to the insertion slot 1. In addition, to determine the magnetic pattern of the banknote, the detection output of the detection head 8 is introduced into an identification circuit (not shown) to identify the suitability and type of the banknote being conveyed. If the banknote is unsuitable, the motor 4 is similarly reversed and the banknote is removed. Return to insertion slot 1 is performed. When the second detector 21 detects the tip of the banknote that has been determined to be appropriate, the solenoid 16 is de-energized and the stopper 15 closes the passage 2 on the insertion slot 1 side. When the second detector 21 detects passage of the rear end of the banknote, the solenoid 24 is de-energized and the blocking portions 19 of the first blocking member 19 and the second blocking member 20
a and 20a respectively protrude into the recess 23, the passage 2 is closed, and the banknote is finally determined to be genuine. Further, the motor 4 is operated after a predetermined time after the second detector 21 detects the leading edge of the banknote, that is, the banknote whose leading edge is detected by the second detector 21 is conveyed to the storage chamber 29 by the belt 8, and the trailing edge is transported to the storage chamber 29 by the belt 8. It is stopped after a predetermined time period sufficient for the rollers to be separated from the guide rollers 7 and 13 has elapsed. Additionally, a first detector 14
the second one within a predetermined time after detecting the insertion of a banknote.
If the detector 21 does not detect the rear end of the banknote,
I am trying to stop the operation.

Since the detection roller 17a rotates at this point, even if the banknote E is genuine, the length of the banknote is deemed to be inappropriate and the banknote is returned.

However, at this point, the first blocking member 19 and the second blocking member 20 close the passage 2, so even if you pull the rear end of the tape T and try to pull it out, the bill E The rear end is locked by the first blocking member 19 and the second blocking member 20, thereby preventing the drawer from being pulled out.

を阻止することができる。 Next, as shown in FIG. 10, a case will be described in which the tape T is removed from the position of the detection roller 17a and placed at a position corresponding to the position of the first blocking member 19. In this case, if the tape T is opaque, the second detector 21 cannot detect the rear end of the banknote E. Therefore, the authenticity of the bill E is not determined, and the motor 4 is stopped after a predetermined period of time has elapsed since the first detector 14 detected the tip of the bill E, and the operation is stopped. Also, due to this operation being stopped, the solenoid 24 is de-energized. The first blocking member 19 is prevented from closing the passage 2 by the tape T, but the second blocking member 2
0 protrudes into the passage 2 and closes it, preventing the withdrawal of banknotes E. If the tape T is transparent, the rear end of the banknote E is detected by the second detector 21, but as shown in FIG. The blocking part 19a is the recessed part 23
The lower end of the first blocking member 19 cannot protrude inward, and the lower end of the first blocking member 19
is detected by the detector 28, and the operation is stopped. In this case as well, since the solenoid 24 is de-energized, the second blocking member 20 can prevent the banknote E from being withdrawn.
