Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a heat insulating sound absorbing material having high bonding strength by arranging a skin material wherein polyurethane foam is laminated to the rear of a non-woven fabric to at least the single surface of a heat insulating sound-absorbing member to bond the same thereto simultaneously with the molding of a porous material under heating. CONSTITUTION:As a heat insulating sound-absorbing member 1, uncured glass wool with a basis wt. of 850g/m<2> and a thickness of 80mm is prepared and, as a skin material 2, a laminate wherein a polyurethane foam 4 with a density of 21kg/m<3> and a thickness of 3mm is laminated to the rear of a polyester nonwoven fabric 3 with a basis wt. of 35/cm<2> is used. The skin material 2 is arranged to the heat insulating sound-absorbing member 1 through an EVAPE film 5 so as to bring the polyurethane foam 4 into contact with the heat insulating sound-absorbing member 1 to be pressed thereto under a pressure of 8.6kg/cm for 2min using a mold equipped with a molding surface having a predetermined shape and held to 230 deg.C.

2. Description of the Related Art As a vehicle, a building material, or a sound material, a heat insulating and sound absorbing material made of a porous material having both heat insulating property and sound absorbing property has been conventionally used. By the way, as a material having adiabatic and sound absorbing properties made of a porous material, for example, an inorganic fibrous porous material such as glass fiber or a synthetic resin foam material has been conventionally known. In many cases, the heat insulating and sound absorbing member is used in a state of being covered with a skin material made of a non-woven fabric for the purpose of improving the property and imparting water repellency against water wetting. When the heat insulating and sound absorbing member is covered with a skin material made of a non-woven fabric, particularly when the heat insulating and sound absorbing member is formed into a molded product having a complicated shape such as deep drawing, the heat insulating and sound absorbing member is covered with the skin material at the same time as the heat insulating and sound absorbing member is formed. There is a risk that wrinkles may occur on the surface of the skin material, or damage may occur in some cases, when joining the two. for that reason,
The skin material is joined after forming the heat insulating and sound absorbing member.

In the above conventional manufacturing method, it is necessary to perform the molding of the heat insulating and sound absorbing member and the joining of the skin material in separate steps, which has a disadvantage of low manufacturing efficiency. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to eliminate such a conventional inconvenience, and to provide a method for manufacturing a heat insulating and sound absorbing material, which enables a non-woven fabric skin material to be bonded to the heat insulating and sound absorbing member at the same time as the molding.

Examples of the heat insulating and sound absorbing member include fibrous porous materials such as inorganic fibrous porous materials and organic fibrous porous materials, and synthetic resin foam materials. More specifically, as the inorganic fibrous porous material, a high density glass wool plate of glass fiber conventionally used as having excellent flame resistance and adiabatic sound absorption performance is preferable, and as the organic fibrous porous material,
A felt-like material obtained by defibrating natural fibers or synthetic fibers is preferable, and a polyurethane foam, particularly a soft polyurethane foam is preferable as the synthetic resin foam material.

In order to bond the skin material to the heat insulating and sound absorbing member at the same time as the heat molding of the porous material, the polyurethane foam itself may be heat-fused, but when the heat insulating and sound absorbing member is glass wool, the binder thereof is used. Maybe,
An adhesive may be applied by spraying between the skin material and the heat insulating and sound absorbing member, or a heat fusion film such as EVAPE film or a heat fusion sheet such as nonwoven fabric such as polyethylene may be interposed. In particular, when a heat-sealing sheet such as EVAPE film is interposed, the heat-insulating and sound-absorbing member is preferably laminated together with the skin material, which is preferable in terms of manufacturing efficiency and also in terms of adhesive strength.

[Function] Even if the skin material is joined to the heat insulating and sound absorbing member at the same time as the porous material is heat-molded, the polyurethane foam is laminated on the back surface of the non-woven fabric, so the polyurethane foam absorbs the stress applied to the skin material at the time of molding. Does not cause wrinkles or damage to the skin material.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Example 1 FIG. 1 shows a heat insulating and sound absorbing material manufactured by an embodiment of the manufacturing method of the present invention. First, as the heat insulating and sound absorbing member 1, uncured glass wool having a basis weight of 850 g / m 2 and a thickness of 80 mm is prepared. , As the skin material 2, the basis weight is 35 g / m 2
On the back side of the polyester non-woven fabric 3 of 21 kg / m 3 ,
Prepare a skin material laminated with a polyurethane foam 4 having a thickness of 3 mm, and apply EVA to the surface of the heat insulating and sound absorbing member 1.
The skin material 2 is arranged via the PE film 5 so that the polyurethane foam 4 side is in contact with the heat insulating and sound absorbing member 1. Although not shown, a mold having a molding surface of a predetermined shape is used. Hold at 230 ℃, press pressure 8.6kg
/ Cm 2 , for a pressing time of 2 minutes, pressure pressing was performed, and at the same time when the heat insulating and sound absorbing member 1 was molded, the skin material 2 was jointly coated on the heat insulating and sound absorbing member 1. When the obtained heat insulating and sound absorbing material was visually observed, the skin material 2 was not damaged or wrinkled at all. Although the surface of the heat insulating and sound absorbing member is coated with the skin material in the above-described embodiment, the covering of the skin material may be only on the back surface of the heat insulating and sound absorbing member or on both the front and back surfaces.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the polyurethane foam is laminated on the back surface of the non-woven fabric even when the skin material is jointly coated with the heat insulating and sound absorbing member at the same time as the heat molding of the porous material. Therefore, the polyurethane foam does not absorb the stress applied to the skin material during molding and does not cause wrinkles or damage to the skin material. Therefore, as in the conventional method, the molding of the heat insulating and sound absorbing member and the joining of the skin material are performed in separate steps. There is no need to carry out, and it is possible to efficiently produce a heat insulating and sound absorbing material provided with a skin material made of a non-woven fabric. Further, particularly when heat-sealing is performed by inserting a heat-sealing sheet such as EVAPE between the heat insulating and sound absorbing member and the skin material, the heat insulating and sound absorbing material having a large bonding strength between the heat insulating and sound absorbing member and the skin material can be efficiently used. Has the effect of being manufacturable.
